    Is the Allied Precision Bird Bath De - Icer self contained? Or does it need to be plugged into an outlet?
    Our bird bath is not situated close to an electrical outlet, which would mean running a cord across the yard in the winter time. What are the dimensions?

    Can I use the Allied Precision Bird Bath De - Icer (200 Watts) (300) in my pond?
    My pond has a liner and is probably close to 1000 gallons. I wanted a simple hole for my goldfish in the deeper pond.
