    Q
How much Battleship III Herbicide should I use per gallon of water?
    A
As with most herbicides the exact volume of water is not very important, you just need to be sure you are getting the correct amount of product on a specific area. In the case of Battleship the product label recommends that if you are treating larger areas that you use 3 - 4 pints of product in at least 20 gallons and at most 200 gallons of water to to treat a entire acre (1.1 oz - 1.5 oz of Battleship per 1,000 sq ft in an adequate amount of water to cover the specified area).

    Q
    How toxic is 'Battleship'?
My ecology minded neighbor has fits when I have weeds, then also has fits when I spray for weeds. I do not use Roundup, but the company I contracted with does use Battleship. My neighbor believes that your product will harm her children.
    A
As long as your neighbors children are not bathing in, playing in, drinking or in any way coming directly into contact with the mixed solution while wet and mis-using Battleship, its not going to harm your neighbors or their kids for you to treat your yard. Follow the usage instructions per the label and apply only when children or pets are not in the direct area to be treated and keep them out until the surface of the lawn has dried (maybe 30min to 2 hours).
