Great Backpack - with a catch
By Jon on 12/15/2017
So I love this pack. It does what it's supposed to do and is really well made. I've wasted money on others (Chapin) which gave me 1-year service and then shattered (literally). This pack has withstood many applications and holds strong. It's easy to maintain and parts are replaceable (but pricey). The metal handle is a beauty - especially when you've used the "all plastic" ones previously. It feels and operates like a premium item. My -1 star is because of the brass nut on the back of the pack, midway up between piston and tank. It leaks, constantly. I've attempted to repair it by applying some plumbers tape and really crank it down, but after 1 year, I'm going to have to replace the tape again. It worked great at first, but apparently, there is some sort of force that turns the nut loose and leaks solution EVERYWHERE (down your back and pants). Other than that, I love this pack and am planning to buy another. It's worth it, just go into it knowing that it's not totally perfect.

Awesome sprayer but..
By Jayjayjay on 07/05/2023
Bought an iris 15 to use professionally at my landscaping business. Its probably the best and most expensive sprayer i have used. My pest guy raves about this model and for good reason. Its truly excellent, But for a $300+ sprayer Im so irritated that the plastic snap that is supposed holds the wand to the backpack while transporting is not strong enough and the wand constantly falls out. It has hit the ground a dozen times the first day. Did these guys not test this, jeez. I'll have to use a small bungee to keep it secured while i transport to each job. That said, it can spray an ultra fine mist, or shoot a powerful stream 25 ft while maintaining great pressure. Lantern flys on customer's tall grapevines dont stand a chance.
