Can I use Dominion 2L Termiticide on potted hibiscus trees?

We have two large potted hibiscus trees that are brought inside the house during winter. we treated with Bonide systemic granules for infestation of whiteflies, but will have to retreat in two months. Both products' main ingredient is imidaclorid. Can I use Dominion 2l as systemic treatment since it would be more economical? Also, when outside, would systemic residue be present in the blooms, causing harm to honeybees?

Answer:

Dominion 2L cannot be applied to potted or containerized plants. You could apply this to hibiscus if they were in the soil outdoors only. Honey bees could potentially be affected by the active ingredient if applied while the plants are in bloom.
