Glueboard trap failure
By Paul on 12/17/2012
Placed a brand new glue board trap into a known rat travel corridor the first day I received them in the mail. The outside temperature was around 40 degrees. The trap was in a dry location and did not get wet. The trap had a rat in it for a short period of time but the rat escaped. Fur and tracks were found imprinted and stuck to the trap but no rat. Big disappointment! I would not recommend these traps.

I purchase these traps to capture rats and squirrels. So far one has been carried off and the others remain empty. They don't seem to have enough attractant and the animal in one case never got more than one foot on the trap. It did not impede the animal from escaping. The traps were set for 2 months in know areas of travel.
