    What sprayer do you recommend for spraying Thompson Water Seal with?
    A

    The manufacturer of Thompson Water Seal recommended that you use their product with a plastic sprayer with a brass wand, such as our Chapin Premier sprayer. There are no concerns about it eroding any of the seals inside of it. Once you are done with the product, it is recommended that you run mineral spirits through the sprayer and then water to clean it.

    Is the Chapin One Gallon Sprayer suitable for indoor applications? That is, does it produce a fine mist?

    Yes, we sell this Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer as an indoor/outdoor sprayer.  It has an adjustable nozzle that can go from a pin stream to a heavy fan spray to a light mist.

    Is it Ok to leave pesticide in the sprayer for several days?
    How long can you store a pesticide inside the tank of a sprayer? Will the pesticide(s) destroy the rubber seals if left in the system?
    A
    You should not store mixed insecticide concentrates for loger that 24 hours in the Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer, or any other sprayer for that matter. Concentrated insecticides will begin to separate which will clog the lines as well as destroy the seals in the sprayer. We recommend mixing a gallon at a time and discarding left over solution by pouring the solution on the ground next to the foundation of the house.

    The Chapin Premier 1 Gallon sprayer can reach about 10 feet when under pressure.  We do sell a Chapin Slide Pump Sprayer that can reach up to 30 feet.

    What is the best equipment to spray under a deck?
    We have regular ants and carpenter ants. What is the best equipment and chemical to use under a large deck. Space under the deck ranges from almost nothing to about 8". Some areas under the desk can only be accessed through the spaces between the deck boards.
    A
    You will most likely be just fine using an ordinary hand pump sprayer such as the Chapin Premier 1 Gallon 21210. In areas where you have limited access you may have to adjust the nozzle to a pin stream and areas where you have greater access you can adjust the nozzle to a wider fan spray.

    Is the Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer a diaphram type pump, that is best used for spraying wettables?

    The Chapin Premier 1 gallon sprayer is a piston type pump sprayer that works very well for liquids and wettable powders. We have never had any complaints when using wettable powders with this sprayer.

    What is the difference between the Chapin Brass Spray nozzle #3-6001 and the one that comes with the Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer (#21210XP)?
    Does the #3-6001 nozzle offer a wider spray?

    The Chapin Premier 1 Gallon (#21210XP) and 2 Gallon (#21220XP) Sprayers come with the 6-6000 Brass Adjustable Nozzle, which has an adjustable pin to cone stream rated from 0.20 to 0.40 GPM. The 3-6001 is a brass fan spray nozzle that is rated at 0.20 GPM (it is a fixed fan spray) and fits Chapin sprayers with brass wands.

    I used Bifen IT in the Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer.
    Do I clean and/or rinse this container out or do I simply let it dry?

    We would recommend rinsing the Chapin Premier 1 Gallon sprayer out after each use. After this, it can air dry. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Is there a longer wand, or a wand extension, available for the Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer (#21210XP)?
    The extension want that comes with it is only 12" long. I'm looking to add another 2 or 3 feet.

    How heavy is the Chapin Premier 1 Gallon sprayer?
    A

    We assume you are asking the weight of the empty sprayer, which is 5lbs. Each gallon of water normally weighs around 10lb so the Chapin Premier 1 gallon sprayer filled with solution would weigh about 15 lbs.

    Is it ok to use the Chapin Premier 1 Gallon sprayer with weed killer products?
    Or, would I be best advised to use this sprayer for pest control products only? I'll rinse it out well after each use, of course.

    The Chapin Premier 21210XP can be used with herbicides as long as you rinse it after each use.

    How can I remove the sprayer handle to the Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer?
    So I can change it for the chapin sprayer handle with shutoff valve, and can the handle be switch with this type of handle. Also what could I purchase for my 1 gallon premier sprayer to help it to not run off drip after Im done spraying an area.Does the nozzle need to be switch.

    Is this dripless like a B&G?

    The Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer is a great quality sprayer. We are always happy to troubleshoot with our customers if issues occur with their equipment. Chapin does offer a 1 year warranty on parts and is a great company to work with. This particular sprayer has a Fine mist, cone pattern, pin stream nozzle. If you do have issues with the equipment, we recommend contacting the Chapin Hotline at 1-800-950-4458.

    A few questions about the Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer
    First, I would like to know if this sprayer comes with what looks to be a brass wand? Also, if any seals go, do you sell them individually or must you buy a full kit? And, last question - when I go to spray for roaches using Suspend SC and Gentrol IGR does it matter how the product is sprayed? Should I use a coarse stream or a fan spray? Also, is there a way to control the amount of fluid coming out, because I don't see any other adjustment knobs?

    Yes the Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer (#21210XP) does come with a brass wand. We do sell a repair seal kit, but we do not sell the seals individually.  It has an adjustable nozzle that adjusts from a cone spray to a pin stream.  There is no fan spray nozzle for this sprayer.  You can purchase an adjustable fan spray tip separately:  Part 3-6001 Adjustable Fan Nozzle.

    Does Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer (#21210XP) have a crevice tip tool similar to the one in the DIY video guide (B&G crevice tip)?

    Yes  Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer (#21210XP) does have a crack and crevice tool that you can purchase to use with it. You would need to purchase both Chapin part # 3-5796 which is the Chapin 4-way nozzle, and also part # 3-5757 which is the Crack and Crevice tool that fits on that nozzle as well.

    Can the Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer be used to apply product through house tubes?
    A

    The Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Sprayer and other similar hand pump sprayers that we carry are designed to apply products directly to surfaces, not through any other systems. If you have an in-house system, then you would only be able to use parts from the manufacturer of the system for repairs or replacements.
