I bought this sprayer along with a bottle of pesticide concentrate. (kudo's to DMOPC for the icon on the pesticide page suggesting to the customer that they may need one!) This is a great sprayer. The canister, the pumping handle, and the hose to canister connecting part are all made from a very heavy duty, thick plastic. The connecting plastic piece (for the hose) has well defined threads inside the piece for screwing it together quickly and tightly. The hose is a high grade thick rubber with a very tight, thick steel clamp where it meets the hand trigger. (you can see it in the product picture) The wand, the hand held trigger, and the spray tip are all metal as well. Not cheap plastic. The hand trigger can be manipulated to position itself allowing a continuous spray. I wasn't familiar enough with spraying to use it, but for all outside work, and for the pro's, thats a nice feature for avoiding hand cramping. There are two (2) things worth mentioning that could be perceived as negatives. The canister on the INSIDE does NOT have fill level markings. Those markings are on the outside, so you have to judge the fill level yourself on the inside from/with the markings on the outside. I did not care for that. This is not a big deal, but yes, because of the metal connections on the wand, and the spray tip, they can loosen easily. I had to stop and tighten the connections several times as I sprayed. Overall, this is a SOLID product! And knock on wood, I can imagine with its great construction that this will last a lifetime. That is an awesome thing when so many things you buy nowadays are just so flimsy and cheap. Thank you big time DMOPC, and Chapin for providing a high quality product! I will never buy pest control products anywhere else. You have a customer for life!

I use the sprayer with a natural pesticide both inside and outside my home. Instructions are easy to understand and carrying the 1 gallon sprayer and using the spray wand is simple and easy.

I bought this and this is really all you need to spray. The metal wands work a lot better than the plastic. The plastic ones are ok but they dont last as long. They are just cheap. So settle for this one. It will last forever. The tip on it is a cone shaped sprayer, which is all you need. Which means it comes out in a circular motion when you spray. It also streams out if you need to get into cracks or crevices. You can buy the fan sprayer separately if that is what you want or need. All in all this helps out in spraying the outside area that you need to spray. Makes it so simple. Not hard to use. Easy directions.

super fast shipping. You wont find a cheaper price on the web unless the seller has very few reviews. The tank is very high quality and worth every cent. If you plan on using a tank sprayer more than once, then don't skimp on quality. If you plan on buying 3/4 gal of Talstar pro then your going to need a tank sprayer that will last for @90 treatments - an inexpensive tank sprayer is not designed for that kind of usage.

Totally helpful on the phone; blisteringly fast service (products got here so crazy fast, I had to use the asbestos gloves till they cooled down!!); everything well packed and ship-shape. If you want 'fluff', shop elsewhere; if you want the 'stuff', shop with these guys.

i love this. this is a very powerful sprayer. i used to bring in some people to do pest control for me, costing me about $500 to $600. now i am saving swome money ever since i bought this

This is the perfect size sprayer for around the yard. It's light and easy to carry. I bought the fan spray tip to get good coverage around the foundation and up the walls in one pass. We have a lot of scorpions and black widow spiders in the desert so it's important to get good coverage. The pressure release is a great feature. I thought the handle would be uncomfortable because it's thin but it's not.

This sprayer is going to be used. I'm using it for insecticide and weed killer. Be sure to buy the spray tip. don't know what the purpose of the nozzle tip is for yet but I'm sure it has one.

I was alittle hesitant to pay $50 for a sprayer without actually seeing it in person. However, when we received it you could tell it was heavy duty and would last a long time. Glad we got it.

Arrived quickly and exactly as ordered. I sprayed inside and out and haven't seen any pesky things crawling around. Between the spray and the frost nothing should be moving. Just the way I like it. I have recommended them to friends. I will check back in 30 days or so. Thanks!!

I've purchased several (cheap) sprayers over the years and I can honestly say that this one is well worth the money. It's easy to use and the release valve is a fantastic feature. I highly recommend.

I love this sprayer the only problem is the nozzle sprays too much liquid even after adjusting it several times.. But i deal with it..its built really well

The reservoir is a thick type of plastic. Sturdy thing and does it's job well.

I bought this sprayer out of frustration with the sprayers I have had in the past. I must say that I am elated at the performance of the sprayer as it works well beyond my expectations. It has a very controllable and variable print that lends itself to a wide variety of tasks.

This is not like a cheap sprayer. I already had old sprayer but the hose got jammed (melted). This chapin has thick and hard type of hose so no worry to get melt, twisted, or jammed. Prepare teflon tape for every joint....as it is metal sprayer joint need some teflon tape to prevent leaking. Pump is also made out metal. Not plastic. It works as handle too. I totally stisfy with this product. Price seems little bit high but for long term use definitely worth it.

Used to spray for crazy ants around my yard. The sprayer is well-built with a solid brass wand. If you're spraying a large area like your lawn, I recommend getting the 2-gallon sprayer. Then, you can spend more time spraying and less time mixing.

I have used inexpensive big box and discount sprayers for years. I decided to step up to the Chapin and am well satisfied. I like the fine mist pattern. I do need the nozzle that does not spray the cone shaped mist.

Best sprayer on the market for the price. Nice pump action, very sturdy tank, and great spray nozzle. Easy to use and clean. Bought one for killing weeds and one for killing bugs. Chapin will replace any faulty components free of charge. One of the two that I ordered had a penetration from incomplete injection molding and Chapin sent me a new one. They told me to keep the problem sprayer for spare parts. Great customer service.

This was my first experience with a pressure sprayer. The company provides plenty of usage and safety instructions (which they should) so it led me to believe that the product was going to be complicated to use. As it turned out, this sprayer is quite intuitively easy to use and clean. It does its job well with no batteries or power cord required. The most important safety point in my opinion is to always protect your eyes when working with anything under pressure. Open the pressure relief valve before opening the lid.
