    What is the rate of Chlorothalonil 720 SFT Fungicide per gallon of water on 20' blue spruce trees?
    A

    You would use between 1-2 oz of Chlorothalonil 720 SFT Fungicide per gallon of water for needlecast on spruce trees, spraying all current damaged areas and surrounding foliage to protect the tree.

    Is Chlorothalonil 720 SFT safe for winter squash like butternuts?

    Chlorothalonil 720 SFT is not specifically labeled to be winter squash (butternuts) or used on greenhouse grown crops.

    Can you apply Chlorothalonil 720 SFT Fungicide a couple of days after verticutting and seeding with fescue seed?

    Chlorothalonil 720 SFT Fungicide is not labeled for use on home lawns. If you are treating commercial turf such as golf courses, then you could apply this after cutting or seeding. Please let us know if you need assistance selecting fungicides for your home lawn.

    What is the rate of Chlorothalonil 720 SFT per gallon of water for foliar application to treat needlecast on blue spruce?
    A

    Chlorothalonil 720 SFT Fungicide is intended for larger scale applications at the rate of 5.5 pints (88 fl oz)/per acre. This would break down to 2 fl oz per 1000 sq ft in a sufficient water volume for foliar applications. For smaller applications, Garden Tech Daconil Fungicide would be an easier rate per applciation. For Rhizosphaera Needlecast, the rate per the product label is 3 tbsp per gallon of water. 

    Keep in mind, there is a risk of bleaching Blue Spruce with chlorothalonil for diseasesFor best effectiveness, fungicides should be applied when the emerging needles are half elongated (1/2 to 2 inches in length).

    I left my Chlorothalonil 720 SFT Fungicide in the shed over winter and it froze. Is it still effective?
    A

    If Chlorothalonil 720 SFT Fungicide goes into solution (no chunks, separating, etc), it should still be  effective.  It was repeatedly frozen and thawed it would be best to replace though.  

    It best to store in a temperature stable environment (between 45 and 75 degrees) and out of direct sunlight.
