Compost Wizard Downton is a 7 cu. ft. composter which helps recycle food and yard scraps and turn ithem into nutrient-rich fertilizer or soil amendments. It is made with FDA-approved, BPA-free polyethylene and designed with a cobblestone finish to give it a look of elegance and charm. It composts three times faster than a regular bin, making it more efficient and productive compared to other brands. It features RotoLock technology, which lets you lock the bin into 4 positions to make it more secure, thus preventing it from tipping and overturning. It also highlights a wheeled base to allow you to relocate it easily, as well as a large twist lid to help keep animals and children away. It is very easy to assemble, only taking approximately 10-20 minutes. This weighs 28 lbs.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

  1. Place composter in a sunny, accessible location.
  2. Add material per chart below. Do not fill bin past 3/4 full.
  3. Rotate weekly and after adding material.
  4. Compost will look like crumbly soil when complete. Rotate bin to the horizontal position and remove compost with a shovel or trowel. Alternatively, dump material beneath the bin and relocate the bin. Then spread compost where desired.
  5. Use like mulch, spread over your lawn, or supplement with soil for plants.
  • When moving, rotate bin so it locks in the horizontal position. Then lift at the side opposite the wheels, like a wheelbarrow. Do not move when full.
  • Break apart material before adding for faster composting.
