    Q
Will Crossbow Specialty Herbicide kill tallowwood - or Eucalyptus microcorys trees?
    A

You can use Crossbow Specialty Herbicide to kill Eucalyptus or tallowwood trees by basal bark or stump applications. Trees with diameters larger than 6 to 8 inches should be cut to stumps, then treated with Crossbow as a stump application per the product label. If you are trying to avoid harming the trees, it is best to avoid allowing drift or overspray to contact the trees or root system.

    Q
Crossbow on Dwarf fescue and Kentucky Blue Grass mixture
I have tree or brush shoots propogating in relatively new sod - 1 year old. Have tried several lawn weed killers with no results. Is this safe and worth a try? Haven't been able to identify the shoots. Could be from camphor tree but it has never done this before. It is a healthy tree. Doesn't look like any shrub I have either.
    A
Without knowing exactly what type of the plant the shoots hard it is hard to say for sure if the Crossbow Specialty Herbicide - 2, 4-D & Triclopyr will work to kill it.  We would recommend maybe having a local lawn care or landscaping company out to see if they can help identify the plant first.

Crossbow Specialty Herbicide is not specifically labelled for bittersweet. We would recommend Bonide Grass Beater Over-The-Top Grass Killer. It is labeled for bittersweet and various other weeds. This product can be used in vegetable gardens, groundcovers, flower beds and in shrubs/trees. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
