    How long can Cy-Kick stay mixed with water? And would this have any effect on its performance?
    I mixed the Cy-Kick with water, as recommended. 2 ounces of Cy-Kick with 2 gallons of water. But how long can it stay mixed? and would keeping it mixed for a long time have any effect on its performance? My main goal is to kill crickets and occasional scorpions. Thanks!

    With most concentrates including Cy kick CS, you want to be sure to use all mixed solution within 24 hours of mixing. Cykick is a great choice for crickets and scorpions. In the original container, if stored in a cool dry area, the shelf life is 3 years.

    Can I spray on Palm trees where scorpions live?
    Can I spray on Palm trees where scorpions reside in Henderson, NV?

    Yes, Cy-Kick CS can be sprayed around the base of the tree where the scorpions live. We would further recommend looking at the reason the scorpions are so attracted to that particular tree. They do feast on other insects and live in mulch and rocks so those could be two reasons why they are living there. By looking at and modifying your property you can make it less favorable to scorpions. Scorpions are at any given place for three reasons: food, shelter and moisture. If you can remove or reduce any one of these needs you will reduce or eliminate the scorpions as well.

    I just sprayed 3 days ago with Cy-Kick & it rained. Do I need to respray my yard? Does the rain wash it away?

    Per the product label, Cy-Kick CS needs to be down for at least 24 hours before it rains. No, you will not need to respray if you sprayed the product 3 days ago. No, the product is rainfast after 24 hours. Please let us know if oyu have any additional questions.

    Can Cy-Kick CS be used on small fruit trees (no fruit)?

    Cy-Kick CS is not labeled to be used on any fruit trees at all no matter the timing. We do carry another product called Bayer Advanced Vegetable and Fruit Spray which contains the same active ingredient Cyfluthrin but in a different formulation which allows it to be used on edible vegetation.

    Why can't I spray Cykick with a regular spray bottle?
    And, Is Cykick still effective against bed bugs?

    Cy-Kick CS is not labeled to be applied by spray bottle. By Law we cannot recommend any off label application. You are always welcome to contact the manufacturer Whitmire Microgen 800-777-8570 for further application instructions.

    Does Cy Kick CS kill roaches on contact?
    A

    No,Cy-Kick CS does not kill roaches on contact. It is a residual product and kills over time. The residual is up to 30 days outdoors and 90 days indoors.

    If you are looking for a contact kill, we would recommend using 565 PLUS XLO. This does not have a residual so once the product is dry, it is no longer working.

    What is the best way to get away from cockroaches? Which might be the best product for it ?
    I have been facing cockroaches problem in my house. I tried various pest control but still I could able to stay away from them . So what could be the best way to control it ?

    We have had exemplary performance out of our Roach control kits.  The Roach Control Kit is perfect for roach control problems in homes and apartments. This professional kit includes 1 packet of Demon WP Insecticide (which makes 4 gallons of finished solution) for spraying the outside perimeter of the home and inside underneath appliances, behind cabinets, under toilets and sinks, etc. You'll also get 4 x 35 gram tubes of Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel--one of the best roach baits on the market. Invict Gold can be applied up high in the kitchen in the corner of cabinets and in cracks and crevices in kitchens and bathrooms. The bait contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. Finally, 20 Gentrol Point Source stations provide an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) that will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals. Demon WP must be applied with a 1 gallon pump sprayer, like the Chapin 1 gallon sprayer.

    I have found Cy Kick to kill most everything I wanted but I have never tried it on Fire Ants. Is it a good product for that? If not,what should I order?

    Cy Kick CS is labeled for fire ants however Extinguish Fire Ant Bait is our most popular ant bait. Applied as a broadcast application use 1.5-2 lbs. per acre and for ndividual mounds treatment, use 2-5 tablespoons. Keep in mind, Ants must be foraging for this to work. You should not apply this product in the late fall or winter of ants are not foraging...it will not work! Also, bait must remain dry. Do not apply if it is going to rain within 8 hours.

    Outdoor use of Cykick CS
    I live in Orlando FLORIDA, in the summer we pretty much get rain every afternoon. Does Cykick hold up to the rain in this environment? Also can you us a hose end sprayer to apply?

    Will Cy Kick CS help with cock roach infestation?
    We recently moved in to a new home, and I never noticed how bad of a infestation there was. At night when we turn on the lights and they are every where. It's disgusting! We clean, but they still come out. Will this product be effective at eliminating them and preventing another outbreak? What will I need to spray inside and outside the house?

    Yes, Cy-Kick CS is labeled for roaches. We would also recommend using an IGR (insect growth regulator). This will stop the roaches from reproducing. You will use between 0.5 to 1.0 fl. oz. per gallon of water. Gentrol IGR can be mixed in the same sprayer as the Cy-Kick CS. You will mix 1 fl. oz. per gallon of water. This will work for up to 4 months.

    For longer prevention, we would recommend using Delta Dust inside the wall voids. You will do a couple of puffs per electrical outlet and light switch. This is waterproof and will last in the wall voids for up to 7 months. Make sure you are not using too much because the roaches will need to walk over it. This dries them out inside the wall voids.

    It will rain intermittently today How long before it rains can I apply insecticide

    As long as the treated areas had a chance to dry before the rain started, you should not need to reapply Cy-Kick CS for 30 days.

    Cy-Kick CS is not labled to treat anytype of rodents therefore we are not able to say for certain. You may contact the manufacturer Whitmire Micro-Gen at 800-777-8570 and speak about the effects of the active ingredient Cyfluthrin on rats/mice.

    How effective is Cy-Kick CS against bed bugs and can it be broadcasted inside the home?

    Cy-Kick CS is labeled for Bed bugs but it cannot be used as a broadcast and would not need to be when treating for them. However, we have put together Bed bug Kits that include all of the products needed to eradicate bed bugs and would be more effective.

    Is CyKick a good product to treat carpet beetles?
    A
    It is very important that the source of the infestation (where the damaging larva is harboring) is discovered and eliminated, not just the visible insects you see wandering around. Until you find out what that is and deal with it, you will continue to get more of the carpet beetles emerging from hiding. Carpet beetles may be as likely to feed on grain based food materials as they are on animal byproducts. Pet foods stored in forgotten places, baking goods left too long in the cupboard, rodent baits tossed in the attic - all of these are quite susceptible to carpet beetle feeding. Plus, you also have the typical carpet beetle diets of dead insects (wasp nests in the attic, dead insects in window sills), feathers (bird nests, dead birds), hair (dead rodents, wool products, trophy mounts), and other things made from animal byproducts. Once the source of the infestation is removed or cleaned, use Cy-Kick CS and Gentrol IGR once a month until all of the beetles are gone. Gentrol IGR will help break the breeding cycle of the beetles and will help eliminate them for good.

    Can Cy-Kick CS be used indoors? Can it be used simultaneously with Ultracide?
    I am going to use Ultracide to contol the flea life cycle in the carpeting. We don't have pets, but live in an area with a lot of wildlife which seems to cause the outbreaks. I need Cy-Kick to control the scorpions that enter the house and am thinking of spraying the indoor baseboards with it.

    Cy-Kick CS can be applied indoors to the cracks and crevices for the treatment of scorpions and other listed pests. It is not labeled to be applied indoors as a broadcast for flea treatments so we recommend that you vacuum daily and apply Ultracide once every two weeks indoors for flea control. A minimum of two indoor applications of Ultracide is required. You may have to perform a third or fourth application depending on the level of fleas. We also recommend treating your pets and the outside of your home.

    I am concerned that after I apply Cy-Kick CS, my free-range chickens will eat the bugs that are contaminated.
    Any suggestions?? I'm specifically trying to kill scorpions. Thanks!

    Unless the chickens are consuming the Cy-Kick CS directly there should be no effect on the bird or their eggs. Once the product has dried, it only has a toxicity level of that to kill something as small as an insect. The insect walks across it, picks up a little bit on their feet/bodies and ingests it as they groom themselves. For there to be even a chance of your chicken having any effect from the Cy-Kick CS, they would have to eat at least their weight worth in insects that have died from it.

    I'd like to mix Exciter to Cy-Kick CS to add some quicker knockdown.
    How do most effectively mix the two chemicals and does mixing alter performance of either ?

    ExciteR can be mixed with any insecticide including Cy-Kick CS to give it a faster initial knockdown.  You would follow the rates on each product labels, 1 to 2 oz Cy-Kick CS per gallon of water, 1/4 to 1/4 fl. ounce of ExciteR per finished gallon

    i am concerned about feeding outside birds next to areas sprayed with cy kick. will it harm them

    Cy-Kick will be safe once the product has dried. A bird would have to consume a large amount of the prodcut to be affected. If this is a concern, refrain from spraying that area directly with Cy-Kick.

    Which product of these three will be best for me? Cy-kick CS vs Termidor or Tempo
    I need help in determining which product is best for me. I live in Southern California and have an array of pest: spiders including black widows, ants, slugs, crickets, mosquitoes, wasp, silverfish, termites, etc. What is the best product for me to use? Is there one product or do I need all three?

    Tempo SC or Cy-Kick CS both would be great options for you to use around your home and inside to control pretty much all the pests you mentioned and then some. Termidor would only be used if you are doing a trench treatment around the foundation of the home for subterranean termites, or if you were drilling a hole in a wall to spray it directly on a termite colony as a spot treatment.
