Cyonara 9.7 is not specifically labeled for rose midges. Most products are labeled for midges in general like this product. The Bonide Systemic Insect Control however is labeled to control rose midges specifically.
Cyonara 9.7 could be used for outdoor flea control, although it is not labeled for broadcasting indoors or for indoor flea control. Our Indoor Flea Kit would be the best choice for treating fleas inside. Please see our Flea Treatment Guide for more information about flea control.
Cyonara 9.7 rates vary for each of these pests per the product label. For chinch bugs you would use at the rate of 14 ml per 1000 sqft in 4 - 10 gals. of water per 1,000 sq. ft. The use of a nonionic wetting agent, penetrant or similar adjuvant is strongly recommended following label rates. Use the highest water application rates possible with your sprayer. Apply CYONARA 9.7 to turf wet with dew, rain or irrigation. Water in immediately after application with ¼ - ½ inch of water for optimum results. For fleas you would use 0.4 ml per gallon of water. For best results, apply CYONARA 9.7 at recommended rates in 2 - 5 gals. of water per 1,000 sq. ft
A presence of springtails means there is usually a moisture issue under the house or around the house. Springtail eradication depends on eliminating the moisture source. If the springtails are breeding from under the slab, then the granules around the outside of the house will not effect them and they will be able to get into the house. It is imperative to correct any moisture issues or water that puddles up against the house. You could use Bifen IT inside and on the house outside for some extra killing power in addition to the granules.
Typically, pesticides alone will not take care of a springtail problem. It is required to fix whatever moisture issue is causing the problem. You should read our "How To Get Rid of Springtails" article for further information
