Mixing Demand CS with Mosquito Barrier would not be beneficial. You want the mosquitoes to land on the Demand and pick up what is there. If you were to mix the two, the Mosquito Barrier would act as a barrier and would prevent the insects from landing where you have sprayed the Demand CS. You can mix Archer IGR with Demand CS or with EcoVia EC or Essentria IC3. You could also mix a low rate of the EcoVia or Essentria with Demand CS for faster initial knockdown.
Demand CS can be applied with the use of a "coarse, low-pressure spray," according to the product label. This would allow you to control the application so there is no runoff, pooling, dripping, etc. Most smaller volume sprayers will have up to about 40 PSI, so you usually would not use much more than that.
Demand CS should not be applied to entire kitchen or bathroom floors, so we are not completely sure what type of cleaning can be done to keep the product from leaving behind a residual after it has already dried. You can try cleaning the floors with warm soap and water but again, we cannot guarantee this will work. If you would like a clear answer, we recommend contacting the manufacturer, Syngenta at (1-866-796-4368).
When using Demand CS it can take minutes to hours to kill carpenter bees. The active ingredient needs time to work through the follicle of the insect to the central nervous system. You can spray surfaces they would land on to help prevent new holes, and treat inside existing holes for larvae with dusts like Delta Dust. You can also review the bet methods for treating carpenter bees in our Carpenter Bee Control Guide.
Demand CS leaves a 90 day residual once the application has dreid for general pest control treatments. When mopping or cleaning area, this can remove any residual and retreatment would be necessary for best results.
Onslaught Fast Cap would be a great alternative to rotate treatments with Demand CS.

Demand CS should not be applied to any edible vegetation. Any treated edibles should be discarded.

Demand CS Insecticide is considered a repellent because insects can detect it. This does not mean they are truly repelled from the area they can just choose to avoid it as they know something is there. They must contact the treated area to be effected by the product though. You will still see insects after application but as long as they contact the area long enough they will die, this could be within a few minutes, hours or up to 24 or more depending on a few factors such as type of insect, age/heatlh, how long they spent on the treated area and how long after application they contacted it.
