    Q
Can Eco PCO ACU aerosol be used on food counters, around dishwashers, by dishes and food?
    A
Eco PCO ACU Aerosol is a contact kill aerosol.  It is only meant to be applied in cracks and crevices, behind baseboards, in wall voids, and wherever you physically see an insect you want to kill quickly.  You should not apply any pesticide to open food or directly on a food handling surface like a countertop.  If there is an insect on a food handling surface like a countertop, then you should clean the area thoroughly after you apply the product.

    Q
Is ECO PCO ACU safe to use in a home with children?
I have two small children (a toddler and infant) and am concerned about their health and safety.
    A
Yes. Unless other wise noted,  the pesticides on our website are safe to use in a home with children. As with any product, it is important to follow the label instructions and precautions to ensure safety. Eco PCO ACU is designed to be environmentally safe for use around your home and family. The active ingredients in this product are derived from plant oils such as rosemary, wintergreen and eugenol.

    Q
ECOPCO JET 14oz says it is a contact kill for stinging insects (specifically wasps, yellow jackets)
However the new replacement ECO PCO ACU 17oz does not mention this capability. Can you verify that it indeed is the same product with the same contact knockdown capabilities of Eco Jet X 14 oz?
    A
Eco PCO ACU is not a replacement for Eco Jet and they are not the same thing.  Eco PCO Jet is a replacement for Eco PCO Jet X.  Both are meant for flying insects and shoot 15 to 20 feet to knock them out of the air.  Eco PCO ACU is a normal aerosol meant for killing mainly crawling insects in your home, like roaches, spiders, ants, etc.

    Q
How long does an application of Eco PCO ACU last?
An exterminator used this product on the entry ways into each room of our house. Was that correct? And how long it last once applied?
    A
Eco PCO ACU is a contact kill insecticide that does not provide a lasting residual. Insects must be contacted by spray to ensure 100% mortality. Once the spray has dried it will no longer be effective.

    Q
Is Eco PCO ACU Aerosol safe to use with pets in the home, or do they need to be removed for treatment?
I work for a pest control company. I am fighting a flea problem at my home. I am trying to find a product that is safe to treat with my cats in the house.
    A

Eco PCO ACU may be applied if pets are in the house, however we would recommend refraining from spraying any insecticides while pets are in the same room. You want to wait until applications are dry before allowing pets to re-enter the area. Eco PCO ACU is not, however, an appropriate treatment for fleas. We recommend our Indoor Flea Kit for your situation. You want to keep pets out of the treatment area until the application is complete and dry.

A very gently product for use on the cats themselves would be Greenway Formula 7 Dog and Cat Flea and Tick Spray.
