Fastrac All-Weather Blox is one of our most popular rodent baits for outdoor use. Fastrac Blox offers a lethal dose in a single feeding, with the first dead rodents appearing in one or two days after bait consumption. Fastrac must be used in a tamper resistant bait station outdoors to avoid accidental ingestion by non-target animals or children.
Fastrac All-Weather Blox is a neurotoxin that damages the central nervous system.
Fastrac All-Weather Blox does not stop mice from reproducing. It kills them after feeding within 12-48 hours.
You should place the Fastrac Blox inside of tamper resistant stations to secure the blox so that the rats can not carry them away to unsecured locations. Be sure to place plenty of stations out as this type of rat can be territorial and will stop other rats from visiting certain stations.
Fastrac All-Weather Blox Rodenticide isn't a bait that any rodent should be able to build up a resistance to due to how it affects the rodents body once it consumed it. It is recommended to rotate baits every 4-6 months if you still need to treat to prevent bait aversion. It honestly sounds like you have a much higher rodent population than you may realize, or you could have some alpha rodents eating more than is needed for a lethal dose, which means less bait for other rodents to consume, so replenishing has to happen for that reason as well. It is suggested that once you open a bucket of bait it should be used up within 1 year.
Fastrac All-Weather Blox contain food grade attractants in them. Rodents are attracted to the bait as they are looking for food. Fastrac requires the rodents to consume a lesser amount of bait compared to other products to acquire a lethal dose, and once consumed will kill the rodent within 24-48 hours. Be aware it can take time for rodents to get used to a new food source so may be a few weeks before they start to feed. Be sure to limit any access to other food sources for best results.
No, the Fastrac All-Weather Blox Rodenticide does not cause dehydration in rodents. The active ingredient bromethalin poisons the central nervous system, causing the rodent to stop feeding after ingesting the poison, so more rodents can be controlled with less bait.

Fastrac All-Weather Blox is a professional grade rodenticide and can be more effective than consumer brand due to the inert ingredients/attractants they contain. Due to EPA restrictions it can only be sold in the 4lb pail or it is also in the T1 prebaited stations that contain only 1 block.
Once the pail is opened, the rodent bait should be used within 1 year. Unopened pails of rodent bait have a shelf life of 2-3 years if stored in a cool dry environment and out of extreme temperatures.
