I am very pleased with the garage door rodent guard. My purchase came through mail very quickly, and was very simple and easy to put onto the seal of my garage door. I have peace of mind since I installed it and know that no mice, rat or rodent will chew through it and I do not believe any snakes will crawl under it. Great price, super easy to install. Seem very solid and fit perfectly as stated. Pest control company was going to install the same thing so I knew I was on the right track doing it myself.

It might not look super professional the way I did it, but it got the job done. We had rats chew through our regular vinyl weather strips, these metal plates were easy to install on top of the vinyl and I haven’t seen any activity since I got them installed.

Noticed mice chewing my rubber garage seal and was catching them daily. Tried the garage rodent guard and so far have not caught any mice in garage. So far so good!

I had new weather stripping installed because the old one was worn and we suspected that rodents would try to get in. We added the rodent guard to the installation. They are easy to install and work great thus far.

This is the second garage door I have fixed with Garage Door Rodent Guard. I have told friends with mice problems about this product and so far, I am very pleased. My new shed within 1 week, had mice eating thru the trim. I put this on and no more mice.

This item was exactly as advertised, and works very well. It solves the constant problem of curling of the bottom of the garage door gaskets. It has happened with every single garage door gasket I have ever owned - an amazingly simple solution! This company should market these to the makers of garage door gaskets. It should be included with every gasket sold! I no longer have debris blowing in at the corners (cleaner garage) and I have not seen one little critter since installation.

A rat had eaten away (once the weather go cold) at part of my garage door bottom seal in the corner where it meets the outer rubber door (vertical) seal at the concrete floor. So, I purchased and installed a new bottom rubber door garage seal and then installed the Rodent Guards and painted them to match my garage door and all trim and it looks and works fantastic. No way a rat can get into the corners now and into the garage. Also, one of my clients was having the same issue so I steered him to DoMyOwn and he purchased some Rodent Guards as well. These work!

My handyman installed these several weeks ago. Mice had been entering the garage at the corners of the bottom of the garage door. A rubber seal had been installed, which they chewed through immediately. I have no idea if they have entered in any other places. We packed some steel wool in a few areas where it was possible. He also installed a new garage door sweep, as mine was very old. It was a basic one, not a heavy duty. He adjusted the garage door opener so that it lowered with enough force to block them from entering under the door. Since the rodent guards were installed, there has been no new chewing, and no evidence in t he usual areas of any mice! This is a minor miracle, since I have had mice in the garage for years. Had I known it was this simple of a fix I would have done it long ago. The pest control companies won't touch it for less than $1800 to inspect your whole house, etc. I told them I only have them in my garage. So now I will be testing it by seeing if I can trap any inside in the coming months of fall/winter. I will try to remember to post again for an update. I'm thrilled with these! Just little pieces of bent metal, go figure!

Unfortunately, this product is not "one size fits all." I think it's probably a decent product but check your dimensions against the dimensions of the product. I understood it as being malleable in order to fit my garage opening but it was difficult to adjust even with plier.

The metal guard is terrific BUT the tape is a pain. Could use an extra piece if one doesn't lay right. One of the wipes was all dried out and couldn't clean the rubber door gasket. Fortunately, in this time of pandemic, I have plenty of alcohol wipes. The install looks very good on one side , the other not so good.

We were getting lizards in the garage through the sides of the garage door all the time so I did some research and found this product. Lizards don’t really bother me so much but I know that if they can get in, so can copperheads, mice, etc. Anyway I put them on about two weeks ago and haven’t seen any lizards since, so definitely doing an awesome job so far!

It installs easy. However the metal part pulls the rubber seal above it away from the garage door. It creates a space that other insects and spiders can enter. I tried putting adhesive foam strips on the gaps that these metal strips create. But there is really no fix. It is amazing how much these stop the seal from making contact with the garage door. Yes I still get mice in my garage from squeezing in above these metal strips. I have also caulked the bottom of these metal strips tight at the bottom where it meets the concrete. Still no fix on closing the gap above these.

I have been battling nice in my man cave for a decade including having exterminators twice a year with poisons etc.--no luck. Finally I told them we need to find the issue and it was the overhead door seal--duh!! These rodent guards are nailing it! Easy to apply and really effective. I AM WINNING!

This product is a great addition to your line up if you are trying to ward off rodents. I had about 3-5 rats in my garage from time to time, and this products prevented them from coming back once I put the rodent guard on.

This simple kit was easy to install onto my garage door. Mice had been coming through the cracks in the garage door and I was looking for something to help seal up the gaps. I used this and also filled any additional gaps with some steel wool. Now, when I'm standing on the inside of the garage and I close the garage door, I barely see any gaps of light coming through which should mean those pesky mice don't have a way in. Would definitely recommend!

We bought two sets to do both of our garage doors. One door had a seal the mice had chewed through. We had paid thousands for an exclusion service on our house and garage, but were still getting mice in our garage. We caught ten mice in about a month, until installing these Rodent Guards on our seals. Be sure to bend them almost in half, before attaching to seals. Hopefully they hold up over time.

I saw this product explaination on youtube when I was searching for a solution to keep small mice from getting in my garage. I liked the concept so I googled it and found it on this company's website. Easy to install and they had it to me in a couple days. So far so good and I think it is is working!
