I am very pleased with the garage door rodent guard. My purchase came through mail very quickly, and was very simple and easy to put onto the seal of my garage door. I have peace of mind since I installed it and know that no mice, rat or rodent will chew through it and I do not believe any snakes will crawl under it. I am so glad I found your web page and learned about the rodent guard. Thank you! Margie

This was easy to install, took literally minutes, and effectively covered the 2" gap in the vinyl trim piece that had been chewed by mice. You simply clean the vinyl with a provided cleaning wipe. Then crimp on the metal trim piece to the remaining vinyl with pliers and cover the top edge of metal with provided tape. It easily took less than 5 minutes.

The metal guard is terrific BUT the tape is a pain. Could use an extra piece if one doesn't lay right. One of the wipes was all dried out and couldn't clean the rubber door gasket. Fortunately, in this time of pandemic, I have plenty of alcohol wipes. The install looks very good on one side , the other not so good.

This product appears to be working just like it claims? It was very simple to install and looks great. I see no reason why there would be any different outcome in years to come.

I can't believe how easy this product was to install and it works beautifully!! Something so simple - yet so amazing. I haven't had a mouse in my garage still I installed it. Highly recommend!

The kit comes with special strips of very strong white tape that prevents any interference when the door closes over the top of the metal strip. Easy to install and is working! No more mice! I also staples steel wool at each corner of the garage door.

So far so good! I knew I needed something as I watched a garter snake crawl into my garage. Thanks for the quick service and the demo video. I painted the guard to match the trim of my garage door. I would recommend putting double stick tape on the back of the guard rather than tape on the top, for an overall neater look.

The Garage Door Rodent Guard Super was easy to install. I did think they would be a bit thicker, but they are good enough. With the tape on it looks good enough from a distance. Glad I bought them and will see how well they work once the weather gets cold again.

After finding a snake in my garage I looked around for a hole and found a gaping hole at the bottom corner of the garage door seal on the outside. I filled in the hole that was in the wood but I used the Rodent Guard to extend the seal all the way to the bottom and am extremely happy with the result. I needed an extra piece of tape and they were gracious enough to send me some. The tape works great.

Got for garage door hoping to keep out rodents they are still getting in . We emptied out garage and cleaned and had traps set to make sure all gone before these were placed on. Still getting mice in luckily we bought traps also. Other wish is they offered these taller (maybe would work better) and in black so don't stand out and you have to paint .

The tape will not hold up very well for long. The price should be lower. If I had known what they were like, I would have gone to Lowe's and bought something similar to metal flashing and made my own rodent guard for the bottom corners of the outside of my garage door.

Installation was straightforward. It's too early to rate it fairly. If it survives even a few New Hampshire winters I'll give it 5 stars.

I recently installed them so it's too soon to make an overall assessment. But this is the time of year when mice activity really picks up in my garage and I haven't noticed, so far.

The garage door rodent guard helps block some of the gap but not all of it. It makes the consumer more aware of where the problem lies so they can put more thought into the solution. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

The installation is pretty straightforward. However, there will be a split where the guard and the trim meet. Not all the way, just the length of the chewed away area. Seems like a mouse might be able to push his (or her) way through. I reinforced mine with some white duct tape and it seems to work fine. Of course, the gophers are hibernating now and the mice might have found a different entry. But my wife is happy. One more thing, don't pay for handling or delivery. These things just slip into a cushioned envelope and get thrown in the mailbox. Do My Own charged me nothing and shipped them immediately.
