Canadian thistle killer
By Alicia on 10/09/2020
We bought this product to kill the Canadian thistle in the yard. It won't even kill dandelions, much less Canadian thistle. My husband used the strength they recommended and it did not work. One week later he tried again with a little stronger solution and still nothing. They shouldn't advertise that it kills Canadian thistle or dandelions because it does not. When he called the company to complain about the product they tried to blame him by saying he had not measured it correctly and that the product had become resistant to it.

Ornamental peanut (aka Golden Glory, Arachis Pontoi)
By Barry on 10/22/2012
I researched online for a selective weed killer that would not kill the ornamental peanut plants in my yard. These plants are also used as cattle forage in Florida and are used in many of the medians in Pinellas County. On the UF site, 2,D-4 was recommended. I further checked with the County Extension Office and after listing the weeds amongst the plants, I was advised that 2,4-D was a good selective broad leaf weed killer. Guess what?? It killed all the peanut plants as well as the broadleaf weeds.
