Hulled Bermuda Grass Seed is commonly used for lawns, pastures, erosion, parks, turf, and landscaping applications across subtropical and tropical climates around the world. Hull Bermuda Grass Seed will grow very well on sand and poor soil types but will not grow in shaded areas. Provides great wear resistance, has fine leaf texture with medium green color, and allows for great traffic tolerance. It is dormant in the winter, but recovers quickly in warm weather. Hulled grass seed formulas germinate faster than unhulled grass seed formulas.

The setting you need for your spreader will vary with how much seed you need to apply and how quickly you walk when applying it. You can apply this using a broadcast, drop, or hand crank spreader. We would recommend starting at the lowest setting on your spreader with seed since it is generally very fine. You can start with a small area such as 500 or 1,000 square feet, and then adjust your settings after treating that small area as needed. We do not recommend mixing the Hulled Bermuda Grass Seed or other seed with anything else when applying.

Hulled Bermuda Grass Seed is good for use in Texas. A hulled seed are seeds that have part of the protect seed coat mechanically removed so as to speed up germination percentages. This makes it more likely for the seed to all germinate at near the same time. More hulled seed are planted than any other kind, because people generally want fast germination which is best achieved with hulled seed. You will use 3 lbs per 1000 square feet. The plant time is between February and July.
