It is the end of July. Should I wait until late August to apply Milky Spore to ensure the grubs are feeding?

Answer:

The manufacturer recommends applying Milky Spore Powder three times per year.  They suggest applying around Labor Day, Memorial Day, and July 4th, just to have some dates that are easy to keep in mind.  However, this product can be applied at any time of year as long as the ground is not frozen.
