The oder was so strong that I could smell it through the packaging. When I removed it unopened from the packaging it irritated my skin, mouth and eyes. I can't imagine what would have happened if I mixed it let alone sprayed it. Just a warning.

after trying 4 different sprays, I finally found one that works on white flies. Two treatments eliminated a major infestation on Hibiscus.

I bought Orthene to help control mealybugs and scale on a large (450 plants) orchid collection. I've been buying from DoMyOwm for years; great prices, fast shipping, easy to navigate site, and lots of information about each product (product labels, MSDS, Q&A, etc.). Orthene is stinky stuff, but effective. Always wear protective gear! I use it as a drench and foliar spray 3 X ten days apart at a dose of 1/3 teaspoon per gallon. Have seen some bud blast on Paphiopedilums,

I’ve been using Orthene 97 on fire ants for years. Can’t be beat. Just be sure to follow label directions to keep the Feds off.
