The Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Tall Fescue Mix should be applied when the dog is not present. The dog can return once the product has been applied, watered in the soil and completely dry. Store the bag out of the dogs reach to prevent ingestion. If these precautions are taken and somehow the dog is still able to ingest, we suggest contacting your vet.

Is June/July a good time to apply. Florida is having good rain fall daily and does flood out the yard most days. Should I wait for less harsh rains?
Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Tall Fescue Mix is a cool season grass seed mix, and you need warm season grass in Florida. Year round planting is commonplace in most parts of Florida and good quality lawns can be produced; however, the best time to seed warm-season grass is during the spring and summer months. This is the time when the grass will grow most quickly and, in many parts of Florida, it allows for the grass to establish before cold weather. You want to plant your seed when rainfall is not expected for at least 24 hours. Please look at the different warm season grass seed that we have.
