Brown recluse spiders. This is the same stuff I used as a pest control tech, in almost every case when dusting attics, and crawl spaces.  Along with talstar at 3 percent, mix Eco Exempt D Dust inside and outside the home the spiders don't have a chance.

    This works!

    By Rose on 08/06/2010

    Verified Purchase

I had a carpenter ant infestation in my porch posts (wood clad with hardy board), and I wanted to use something organic. I sprayed the dust (using the nozzle on the bottle) into the crevices where I saw ants coming and going. Within one minute, ants were rushing out of the porch posts, covered in dust. I crushed the ants that tried to escape, and I haven't seen any further ants or frass since the treatment. This is a fantastic product which I would use again! Note: it is a dust, so don't apply on a windy day.

This stuff is awesome (and so is this site)!

    By Amanda on 09/07/2010

This stuff WORKS. It got rid of the centipedes that we had originally bought it for, so I decided to try it out on some spiders as well. It worked like a charm. I sprayed it outside on a semi-windy day and it STILL worked! It did take about three days to kill the spiders that were already there, but it's absolutely prevented any new ones from hanging out on our porch. Also, my shopping experience with DMOPC has been so very awesome. I received a notification from UPS on a Friday that my package had been delivered, I get home from work, and it's not there. So I called UPS, and they told me to contact DMOPC. I emailed DMOPC and had a response within an hour! This was at 7pm on a Friday night! I absolutely wasn't expecting to hear anything until Monday morning at the earliest. We did eventually find the package (UPS put it inside my neighbors screened in porch that they hardly use), but just to know that they were so awesome about it will definitely have me back when I run out of my current supply!

    Bee killer

    By Ct on 04/02/2011

I had a bee hive in the wall. Spayed in hole. 2 days later I pulled wall back, millions of dead bees and 5 foot honey combs. Then carpenter bees in another building and sprayed in hole. Product is fantastic. Wish it wasn't out of stock.

Q
Is Eco Exempt D safe for pets?

I have three rather adventurous cats. If any of them come into contact with your product, will it make them sick?

A
Yes, Eco Exempt D Dust is an all natural product that is very safe to use indoors around pets. You should keep all pets out of the room while you are applying the product, and then it is ok to allow them to come back in once you are done. Of course you want to use common sense and not dust out in the open, confine applications to cracks and crevices, under appliances, and inside wall voids.

Q
Is Eco Exempt D Dust effective for bed bugs?
A
Eco Exempt D Dust will kill bed bugs, but all dust products typically can take up to a week to actually kill a bed bug.  Dust products alone will not eliminate a bed bug problem.  It is recommended to use many different products in the proper manner, since different products can be used different places and bed bugs can hid anywhere.  This is why we sell Bed Bug Kits.  They come with full instructions and consist of all of the best products available to professionals in a homeowner kit.  They have a very high success rate as long as you follow the instructions and treat thoroughly.  And they will save you a ton of money over hiring an exterminator.

The amount to be applied will vary depending on the severity of the problem and the site treated, but should be in the range of 1 to 2 ounces per 100 square feet of surface area. Applications should include, but are not limited to, cracks/crevices and void areas around and behind interior and exterior walls, cabinets, baseboards, moldings, pipe openings, electrical outlets, stairs, window and door frames and appliances.
