This Dramm 5/8'' Colorstorm Yellow Hose is great to be used with all Dramm watering products. It is designed to be the best hose available that is made with EPDM rubber and crush proof nickel plated fittings to provide years of use. It is resistant to cracking and abrasion. The unique hexagonal shape hose helps prevent kinking. This design easily allows you to pull kinks out fast and quick. It is labeled "Caution Trapping Hazard" on the hose to alert users around. This hose is 100' in length.

This hose is being used in a retail greenhouse. In 2022 and 2023 we had 'inexpensive hoses' that were an ABSOLUTE PAIN to use...they kinked constantly, and it's annoying in a 100-foot long greenhouse to have to 'STOP watering'...walk back and straighten out the kink (or kinks)....only to go back to watering, and then as you move forward, have MOIRE kink or kinks develop. We bought this hose in late March 2024, and have just begun to use it in our retail greenhouse. It is heavier than the inexpensive hoses (and it is mostly older females in charge of watering), but manageable, (less heavy at least than the hoses we use in our production greenhouses) and so far, it has not developed serious kinks as we water, but we have NOT had to water THAT much so far (we are in northern MA, near NH border). We do not have a great system for storing the hose when NOT watering, but I have been able to relatively easily coil it in LARGE loops between two benches at the back of the greenhouse that do not have a lot of traffic. I am hopeful that it works well throughout the summer....as anyone who has operated a large greenhouse knows, watering plants in a large greenhouse without an automated watering system is a 'pain'...using a hose that gives you fewer frustrations is a big help. I am hoping THIS will be the hose 'of our dreams!'
