Details

Use of Product:

Do not use in small, enclosed spaces such as closets, cabinets or under counters or tables. Use of a fogger in an enclosed space may cause the product to explode, resulting in injury to people or damage to property. Do not use in a room 5 ft x 5 ft or smaller; instead, allow fog to enter from other rooms. Fill out and place hang-tag on the door leading to the treated area to alert family and others with access to the treated area not to enter for 2 hr.

Before Fogging:

Open cabinets, cupboards, drawers, closets and doors in areas to be treated. Remove or cover exposed foods, drinking water, dishes, utensils, food pro-cessing equipment and surfaces. Remove all open animal feed and water or cover exposed animal feed and water sources in the area to be treated. Remove ALL animals, including pets and birds. Cover and turn off fish aquariums before initiating application. Turn off air flow systems in aquariums. Cover waxed wood floors, waxed furniture and plastic dust covers in the immediate area surrounding the fogger (newspaper may be used). Close outside doors and windows.

Turn off ALL ignition sources such as pilot lights (shut off gas valves), other open flames or running electrical appliances that cycle off and on (i.e. refrigerators, thermostats, etc.). Call your gas utility or management company if you need assistance with your pilot lights. Fill out and place hang-tag on the door leading to the treated area to alert family and others with access to the treated area not to enter for 2 hr.

Start Fogging:

Place a chair, table or stand in the center of the room to be fogged. Cover with several layers of newspaper, paper towels or plastic tarp. Tilt can AWAY from face (container sprays straight up). Press tab down in locked position to initiate application. Set fogger on covered stand. Vacate the treated house, individual apartment or other structure immediately. Do not reenter for 2 hr.

After Fogging:

Airing out, wait 2 hr after application (until aerosols and vapors have dispersed), then thoroughly ventilate, either mechanically or with natural airflow by opening windows, vents and doors before reentering. If an odor is still detected, additional ventilation is required.

Sort Questions
Q
Is Alpine TR Aerosol a bomb or an aerosol can?

Directions refer to this as a bomb! I have a flea infestation on the first floor of my house. I understand that this is for interiors. Do you carry a product for exterior as well?

A

Alpine TR Aerosol is a fogger.  It will only help to eliminate the fleas that are out in the open at the time you set it off.  Please refer to our guide here on how to more effectively eliminate fleas.  For outside we do have a great Outdoor Flea/Tick Kit that would be used.

Q
Is Alpine TR Aerosol safe to use in a bedroom? How long do we need wait to re-enter and ventilate the room?

Used for carpet beetles?

A

The Alpine TR Aerosol label states to vacate the treated house, room, apartment for at least 2 hours. After 2 hours, you may re-enter to the area to ventilate my opening windows, doors, and vents. Allow time for room to air out, then it is ok to re-enter. If odor is still detected, additional ventilation may be required.
