Ortho MAX Flower, Fruit and Vegetable Insect Killer is designed to protect fruits, flowers, citrus and vegetables by killing caterpillars, Japanese beetles, aphids, white flies, thrips and other listed garden pests - over 100 common garden pests in all. It will not harm the plants and/or blooms. This outstanding product was specially formulated for flowers and edibles without risking their vitality and health and can protect the plants for up to 3 weeks. This comes in a RTU 32 oz. bottle.

HOW To USE

  1. Direct spray toward the upper and lower leaf surfaces and stems where pests appear.
  2. Spray only until plant surface is wet. Do not over-apply or plant damage may occur.

Is it safe to eat the fruit after Ortho MAX Flower, Fruit, and Vegetable Insect Killer is applied to tomato plants?

We need to kill the tomato hornworms that are feeding on our tomato plants, but we also want to eat the fruit that is on the plant.

Yes, the tomatoes can be eaten after Ortho MAX Flower, Fruit, and Vegetable Insect Killer has been applied.  You will need to wait 7 days after application to harvest or eat the tomatoes.
