ShieldTec Plus for Dogs is specially formulated to help protect your pets against fleas, ticks and other insects. It contains two powerful active ingredient -- Pyrethrin which works by repelling and killing insects, and Pyriproxyfen insect growth regulator (IGR) which attacks eggs and larvae to prevent them from growing into biting adults. Destroying the eggs and larvae helps avoid further infestations to ensure your dogs will be safe from these pests. This liquid formula offers complete control of fleas, flea eggs and larvae, ticks, mosquitoes and lice in an affordable price, making it economical to use. This topical treatment features waterproof formula which has effectiveness even after bathing for up to 4 months.

1. Remove tubes from packaging. Using one applicator tube, hold the tube with the narrow end pointing up. 2. Holding tube away from you and your dog's eyes, snap the applicator tip at notched line to open. 3. Invert tube over dog and use open end to part dog's hair. DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Remove tubes from packaging. Using one applicator tube, hold the tube with the narrow end pointing up. Holding tube away from you and your dog's eyes, snap the applicator tip at notched line to open. Invert tube over dog and use open end to part dog's hair. Apply one tube of solution as a spot to the skin at three different locations along the dog's back between the shoulder blades and base of the tail. Squeeze tube to apply all of the solution to the dog's skin. Do not use on dogs less than 5 pounds.
Side Effects: Monitor your dog after application. Side effects may include signs of skin irritations such as redness, scratching, or other signs of discomfort. Gastrointestinal signs such as vomiting, or diarrhea have also been reported. If these or other side effects (such as lethargy) occur, consult your veterinarian.
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS: This product is extremely toxic to fish. Do not add directly to water. Do not contaminate water when disposing of product or package.
USE RESTRICTIONS: DO NOT USE ON CATS OR KITTENS - MAY BE FATAL. USE ONLY ON DOGS OF PUPPIES 12 WEEKS OR AGE OR OLDER. DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO APPLY THIS PRODUCT. Do not apply to dogs/puppies weighing less than 5 lbs. Do not use more than one tube per dog/puppy and do not retreat more than once per month. Do not get in the dog's eyes or mouth and do not allow your dog/puppy to ingest this product. Keep cats away from treated dog for 24 hours. If applied to or ingests by a cat, contact your veterinarian immediately.
How to Open

How to Apply

2. Apply one tube of product solution as a spot to the skin at three different locations along the dog's back between the should blades and base of the tail. Squeeze tube to apply all the solution to the dog's skin.
It kills, repels and prevents re-infestation of fleas, ticks, lice, mites and mosquitoes for up to 4 weeks.
ShieldTec Plus for Dogs contains permethrin and the insect growth regulator pyriproxyfen.

Do not use ShieldTec Plus for Dogs on cats. The product may be fatal to cats.
ShieldTec Plus for Dogs can be applied to dogs and puppies over 12 weeks who weigh at least 5 lbs.
