Product Overview

Clipper SC Aquatic Herbicide provides selective control of invasive and nuisance plants. Some weeds controlled are water lettuce, cabomba, duckweed, alligator weed, and more. Clipper SC quickly dissolves in the water column and it will not accumulate in the sediment. The improved efficacy provides less pH sensitivity. Its liquid formula has 4lbs of flumioxazin per gallon and is easily handled, mixed, and applied. Q
When should I start spraying Clipper SC Aquatic Herbicide in my pond?

I live in Maryland and last year our pond was covered with duckweed and water meal.

A

Aquatic herbicides like Clipper SC Aquatic Herbicide are used only to kill what is growing. They will not prevent anything. You should start applications as soon as you see these weeds for best results since they can multiply very rapidly. Usually the water will need to be at least 55-60 degrees consistently for these weeds to thrive. We have a guide here that might help.
