Product Overview

Profine 75 Herbicide is a highly effective herbicide that controls unwanted broadleaf weeds and nutsedge. Contains Halosulfuron-methyl as its active ingredient which is known for eliminating weeds such as barnyard grass, cocklebur, fleabane, burcucumber, bindweed, horsenettle, goosefoot, Ladysthumb, wild mustard, oats, Panicum, and wild radish. It is a herbicide that works by restriction of ALS. The Profine 75 Herbicide is proven to be fast-acting by inhibiting the growth of targeted weeds and allowing the crop to develop first. It is highly suggested to apply the herbicide to actively growing weeds during its early stages of growth. Visible results may be seen within one to two weeks, depending on growing conditions. This selective preemergent and post-emergent herbicide may be applied to crops including cotton, corn, grain sorghum, fallow ground, turfgrasses, and other non-crop sites. Available in a 10-oz. bottle.

Q
Can Profine 75 Herbicide be mixed per gallon, and if so, at what rate?

Small area use label only specifies per acre. Can this be mixed in a gallon sprayer, and what rate profine/water?

A

Profine 75 Herbicide is really designed for larger applications and labeled agricultural applications. If you are using, for instance, 1 oz per acre, then that is only 0.023 oz per 1000 sq ft, which would be about 0.65 grams. For small applications on turfgrass to control nutsedge or other weeds with the same active ingredient, we suggest Sedgehammer Herbicide. You would use one small packet per gallon of water when using Sedgehammer.
