Ferti-Lome Geranium Hanging Basket & Pansy Plant Food 20-20-20 is a water soluble highly concentrated plant food that encourages more vigorous blooms and greener foliage in geraniums, pansies, ornamentals, patio plants, and hanging baskets. Use for a constant feeding of plants. Ferti-Lome Geranium Hanging Basket & Pansy Plant Food 20-20-20 works better when applied as a foliar spray and soil drench in combination.

Details

This is a highly concentrated plant food and must be dissolved in water before use. This helps promote lush green foliage and vigorous blooms. Ideal for use on all Geraniums, hanging baskets, Pansies, patio plants, and other ornamentals where a general purpose, constant feeding program is needed. Works best when used as a soil drench combined with a foliage spray.

HOW DO YOU USE IT

CONTAINER PLANTS:

Soil Application:

  • Dissolve 1 teaspoon in 1 gallon of water. Apply with each watering until desired color and blooming is achieved, then every other watering to help maintain vigorous growth.

Foliage Feeding:

  • Dissolve ¼ teaspoon in 1 quart of water and spray foliage until thoroughly wet every 7 to 10 days. Be sure soil is moist before foliar feeding.

OUTDOOR PLANTS:

Soil Application:

  • Dissolve 2 tablespoons in 1 gallon of water or 1 lb. in 20 gallons of water and apply every 10 to 14 days.

Foliage Feeding:

  • Dissolve 1 tablespoon in 1 gallon of water and using a sprinkler can or hose-end sprayer, wet each plant thoroughly. Apply every 7 to 10 days during the growing season.

    Much cheaper then the Nukeheads Flower Power Package

    Same great results at a third of the cost. My plants are nice and green with lots of yield and no sign of nute burn. Try it you won't regret it!

    This plant food keeps all of my hanging baskets in perfect condition with lots of colorful blooms all summer long in Ohio. I also find Do My Own website the best to get all of my gardening needs.

Can you use this product in a reservoir of a self watering container for vegetables? If so how often should you fill the reservoir with this product?

Ferti-Lome Geranium Hanging Basket & Pansy Plant Food 20-20-20 is not labeled to be used on vegetables and would not be used in a self watering reservoir.

Why is my Ferti-Lome Geranium Hanging Basket & Pansy Plant Food 20-20-20 a different color than before?

My previous purchases of this product were a very bright and vibrant blue powder. My most recent purchase is a much lighter blue. Is there something wrong with it?

Per the manufacturer, they have recently added an anti-caking ingredient to Ferti-Lome Geranium Hanging Basket & Pansy Plant Food 20-20-20, which causes the product to be a lighter shade of blue than before.
