565 PLUS XLO will kill termites or any other insects on contact. However, keep in mind that most swarming termites will die on their own in about a day. You should determine what kinds of termites are in the area (either Drywood or Subterranean) so that you can address the larger issue at hand, which is that there is a mature termite colony in the area. Please see our termite guides for assistance identifying which kind of termites you have so that you can then implement the correct treatment for that type of termite.
565 PLUS XLO - 20 oz. is a non-residual insecticide. It is considered a contact kill insecticide product listed for a number of different insects. It will not offer any residual protection.

565 Plus XLO should not damage paint or tiles as long as you follow the instructions on the product label. If you are concerned about applying it to a specific area, it would be a good idea to test a small, inconspicuous spot first.
Per the 565 Plus XLO product label, applications can be made daily if necessary. This would be a great product to use to flush roaches out of hiding. It contains pyrethrins which are highly irritating to roaches and will usually flush them right out of hiding. Keep in mind that it works on contact only and will not continue to work once dry, so it should not be the only product used for roach control, especially if the infestation is severe. Yes, 565 Plus XLO can be used to treat a wool area rug. Please see the product label for complete application instructions. Keep in mind that this is a pyrethrin based insecticide, which does not leave any active residual. Any pest must be directly contacted with the spray to be killed.
565 PLUS XLO - 20 oz. is labeled for bed bugs but will only kill those that you make direct contact with during application. It is NOT recommended for the sole protection from bed bugs.
