After a severe flea infestation as a result of my wife rescuing two abandoned puppies, this product was used indoors alone and outdoors on a screened and carpeted porch, as a followup treatment after using Suspend SC. Using recommended vacuuming and spraying procedures,it would appear that our problem has been almost totally resolved. The puppies have been found homes, but we have three cats and in the last two weeks I have only found one small flea inside and two outside.

This product does the job! I first used it some ten years ago when I had a retail home furnishings business located in the lower level of an old hotel. The building, being quite old, allowed feral cats to somehow enter and bring fleas with them. I was unaware of this until one day when I walked into our lay-a-way room and within minutes my beige slacks were black with fleas to my knees! This is NOT an exaggeration. I called an exterminator who sold me Ultracide and insisted I should do the spraying myself, which I did not want to do!! The room was long and fairly narrow and he told me to start at the far end and spray from side to side as I backed out, then to repeat the spraying in one week. Recently my inside cat acquired fleas. Don't ask me how, but I was in a panic to get rid of them. I went on line to research the best method and items to use. I also went to my vet. They had a similar product but they told me it took 12 - 24 hrs to dry. I chose the Ultracide because it said it dried in 30 minutes and wasn't harmful to pets. I was very pleased with the results - walking into my cat's room and seeing a couple of dozen fleas on my white socks (before using the Ultracide), to walking in and seeing no specks (after using). I couldn't be happier.

FLEA KILLING FOOL

I have used Ultracide before with good results. My problem is a outside/inside kitty who brings in more everyday. A couple of applications is all it takes to kill off the little buggers and restore peace to my home. Of course doing business with DMOPC is always a pleasure, they are fast, accurate and have the best price around.

They should call this the golden gun, because it kills fleas in one shot! I had tried spraying Bifen IT, Raid Flea Carpet spray, and even sprinkling borax on the carpets. The Raid made the biggest knock down on the fleas but we still had a few that would jump on us and our pets. I bought 4 cans of Raid and used them all within 2 weeks..still had fleas...I was horrified after the fleas survived 1.5 oz of Bifen IT on my carpet.... Then I used ONE can of Ultracide and have not seen a single flea since. Also started my dogs on Trifexis which must have helped, but the Ultracide provided the immediate knockdown I was looking for. My 1500 sq ft house needed 2 cans of Raid, but one can of Ultracide was more than enough for me. I got two cans thinking I'd wait a week and if i saw more fleas I'd spray again..but I havn't needed to. This stuff is a bargain considering how well it works and the surface area it covers. If they come back I will use more Ultracide, and then try the Conquer/Archer IGR "nuclear option"

I use the salt method, which did have a affect somewhat. I even did the bowls with water and dish detergent which works, but doesn't break the cycle. This works you must be diligent spray Waite till dry then vacuum for 7 days throwing away bag. If you still feel any spray again I recommend always 2 cans that's just me. I've used this product for the 3rd year in a row. So effective I no longer have to treat me cat with any product anymore. Frontline and Advantage have always irritated my cat's skin and a few years ago it just seemed to stop working. We had a bad infestation in 2013 and he got tapeworm. After learning about Ultracide at the pest control company I worked for I ordered it online, put my cat in a carrier outside, applied just a half a can to my apartment and let dry for 30 minutes. We have been totally flea free for 3 years with 6 month reapplications. I recently moved and when I noticed his symptoms, I immediately ordered a can of Ultracide, vacuumed real good and threw out the vacuum bag in the dumpster outside, applied a treatment, and gave Lucien a bath after the product was dry. Within days he is purring and happy again, and so am I!

Does everything with fleas it promises, devastating to them, very fast. Ultracide user for 16 years. FORGET BOMBS AND PET/GROCERY STORE STUFF. Waste of time & money, hard on pets. Hard on you, too. Also I find stray cockroaches, wasps, spiders dead on the carpets every other day. I live at the edge of the woods, so that's an added blessing. Warning: treat your pets SAME DAY to cut the cycle completely. I've used this on my porch as well - lots of wildlife, feral cats with fleas all around me. The critters travel into my home and car on my pants. Best is Advantage or Frontline. Petcor spray for touchups. Loved the prompt delivery, fair price, plenty of info on website, easy to navigate, buy securely. Came 2-day. I'm already ordering other stuff as I write. I am sold on these guys.

First - want to say that PT Ultracide rocks and so does DMO Pest Control. I just had a little flea pop-up a full 9 months after quashing a heavy infestation. Ugh! Crap! Luckily I had a bit of a can of Ultracide left, so I could immediately zap the little buggers and lay down some more IGR in case these late bloomers dropped a few eggs. Sent away to DMOPC for two more cans post-haste that evening, and appreciated the quick delivery. Some tips for everyone: (1) follow the instructions, you just need a light spray on carpets, and under seat cushions on upholstered furniture. (2) Don't forget to spray the underside of your couch - learned this the first time. (3) You do NOT have to throw out your vacuum bag. I checked several County Extension sites affiliated with universities, and they say they USED to believe this, but now know it is not necessary. I still see lots of bad "throw it out" advice out there. Save yourself money and headaches and just keep vacuuming. (4) Move as much furniture as you can when you vacuum - that's a hiding place for fleas. Those $10 sliders at the hardware store will make this much easier. Consider stacking some furniture out of the way for two weeks so you aren't pushing it around every time. My local pest company FAILED to get rid of my fleas the first go-round (and second go-round) and I think the permethrin they sprayed damaged the finish on some of my wood furniture. It was Ultracide that did the trick. Easy to use, doesn't smell bad or perfumely and is very effective when you follow the directions. Have hope!
