    Q
What ratio per gallon of Ranger Pro should the average homeowner mix to control normal weed growth?
I've been using roundup concentrate in the past, at @ 3 oz. per gallon in my sprayer. I've just tried out Ranger Pro at @ the same ratio, but it doesn't appear to work the same. By all accounts, this is the same product under a different name. Should I be expecting the same results?
    A
Ranger Pro is comparable to Round Up but each manufacturer does have their own recommended usage rates. Ranger Pro moves through the plant from the point of foliage contact to and into the root system. Visible effects are a gradual wilting and yellowing of the plant, which advances to complete browning of above ground growth and deterioration of underground plant parts. Effects are visible on most annual weeds within 2 to 4 days, but on most perennial weeds, effects may not be visible for 7 days or more. Extremely cool or cloudy weather following treatment may slow activity of this product and delay development of visual symptoms. The amount of Ranger Pro Herbicide you will use per gallon of water will vary from 2/3 fl oz - 13 fl oz per gallon of water depending on what type of plant you are trying to eliminate. Please refer to the Ranger Pro product label for exact usage instructions.

    Q
How long before a rain is Ranger Pro safe to apply?
    A

The product label for Ranger Pro Herbicide does not specify a certain amount of time but it does say that heavy rain soon after application may require a repeat application. You just want to make sure you have at least 6 hours of dry weather after you apply Ranger Pro to ensure its absorbed and not washed away, but up to 24 hours with dry weather is ideal for maximum uptake.

    Q
I want to kill everything but my Bermuda in my yard how do you mix the Ranger Pro.
    A

Ranger Pro is a non selective post emergent herbicide and it will kill just about any type of vegetation that it is sprayed on so we would not advise for you to use on your lawn.

Our most popular general weed control product that is selective, meaning it will not harm your turf grass but it will kill your broadleaf weeds, is End Run. End Run is labeled for just about any weed you could have and will not harm your grass.  Best of all, it comes with a surfactant already mixed in the product so you do not have to purchase and mix a surfactant separately like you do with most of the other herbicides that we sell.

    Q
After killing the weeds with Ranger Pro Herbicide, can something be planted there and survive?
Also can you spray around established or new plants to kill the weeds around them w/o killing the plants or shrubs?
    A
You can replant after 14 days in areas that have been treated with Ranger Pro. Any plant that is directly contacted with Ranger Pro will be killed. If you are spraying near desirable plants you should make sure you are not doing so on a windy day and you should block the desirable plant with a piece of cardboard or other shield.

    Q
What would you recommend for killing a weed called "creeping charlie"?
    A
When treating for creeping charlie it is best to usually spot treat the growth with a glyphosate or round up type product.  This is the best option.  This would be if it is growing in ornamental areas or places where you can treat it individually.  If that is not an option and it is growing into your grass, you can use Speedzone herbicide which is labeled for selectively killing weeds in turf grass.
