Great product that mixes easily with some agitation & kills yellow nutsedge better than the typical big box store products I've used in the past. Highly recommend this product for those looking to control yellow nuts edge in their lawn

A week after spraying a LOT of nutsedge in my yard I saw yellow spots of dying sedge. It really was dying and not growing back after mowing. I noticed some plants that I missed but will spray those individually or get them next year. Very pleased with the product.

Initially I only bought enough to treat a small area as a test. The area I sprayed was very obvious, it looked great while nutsedge was growing everywhere else. After that, I bought a case so I could treat my whole yard and have some on hand for spot treatment in the future. Our yard looks great!

I hoped Sledgehammer + would kill the Nut Grass in my yard. I passed up this product last year, since since it seems pricey. After using it once about a month ago, it did indeed work very well, killing all of the Nut Grass in my yard; I cannot find any left alive, and I had plenty! It may have stressed my St. Augustine a little; my application happened to be during the hottest, driest period of this year. But, any stress signs are now gone. To work so well at selectively killing the weed while leaving my turf in good shape with a single application no longer seems pricey, especially recalling how much time I've spent through the years pulling it just to watch it grow back! Thank you...

It's only been down a week. No change so far. The directions are sparse. Not sure how wet the Nutsedge has to be. Just wondering, and hoping. The directions say it takes three weeks...

Works like a charm! Killed two varieties of nutsedge (one with burrs on top) that had invaded my yard. Will buy it again in the spring!

We had nutsedge invade our front flower beds and parts of our yard. No matter how often we pulled it up, it grew back faster. We had tried everything, but then found out about SedgeHammer. We sprayed it and waited. I won't say it is all gone, but it's not growing. It has turned yellow after about two weeks and is slowly dying away. The weather has gotten a bit colder here, so we are watching and waiting, but will surely re-spay in the early spring to get a jump start on it for next year.

Works better than any other product I've tried to control annual nutsedge issues. It does require a few applications. Would be great if someday there will be a product developed to apply that prevents nutsedge from sprouting.

Best thing since Monterey Weed which they got rid of many years ago. It takes at least a week to notice it isn't growing. It kills the roots ! Apply as directed , it worked for us!

I sprayed product on my nutgrass about a month ago. After two weeks the grass began to yellow close to the soil. After the third week, I bought another application, but didn't apply immediately. It is now week four and I don't think I will need the second application, but glad I have it just in case. It is now completely yellow and I feel that it is dying. The product is definitely worth it. Each time I ordered, it arrived promptly and the transactions were flawless.

Works great followed instructions and sprayed on my zoysia grass and for a couple days didn't notice anything then started turning yellow and now I have no more sedge lawn looks great will definitely buy again

I used Sedgehammer on one part of my front garden bed, but not on the other. The part I used it on has not had even a tiny nutsedge pop up. I'm convinced. Now I need more!!!

We had new sod installed. (palisades zoysia) The soil was tilled first. We did not know this would cause dormant nutsedge to pop out everywhere. We used only 1 application of the SedgeHammer + Herbicide and the sedge turned yellow in just a few days and completely disappeared in a week!. Our new sod stayed green and lush and was not harmed. We talked to representative Rosario several times before our application. She was very helpful and patient with all of our questions. We highly recommend this product!

Found out about sledge hammer after doing some research on getting rid of sledge. I've tried other products (nut sledge) but they always took multiple applications and never fully worked. Sledge Hammer works, period. Had a problem last year applied sledge hammer and it was gone. This year it came back but only in a few places and it appears to be from creeping done from my neighbors yard and not from places I treated previously.

I'm into my second week of "being patient" and finally seeing results. The nut sedge is a tough invasive grass to kill. Tried other herbicides but nothing seemed to work until now, Sedge Hammer appears to be doing the job, 4 stars for now, if it permanently takes them out I'll give it 5 stars. Russ

I've been using SedgeHammer for several years now. Sedge had taken over my vegetable garden. I sprayed every few weeks for 2 years and finally got rid of all of it. As sedge grows it leaves tiny seeds underground (rhizomes) that will grow a few weeks after the parent plant dies. It's a battle but you can win with SedgeHammer. Sedge pops up all over my lawn from time to time so I keep an eye out for it and keep a 1 gallon sprayer ready all spring, summer and fall for spot spraying. Kill the plant before it creates rhizomes and you can win the battle. Buy a cheap, dedicated 1 gallon sprayer, label it and keep it loaded all the time.

I have used this stuff for years. Got a good price here and it actually has come down a bit over the years. Be patient with SedgeHammer...it will take a full two weeks for a complete kill. Follow directions!! It will appear nothing is happening for about a week...then it begins! Nut grass yellows...then dies. Dies from the bottom up! Great stuff...

Use as directed, shake up solution often. Results were visible in less than 10 days. The stuff is really dying or dead and going away. I am glad I bought more than 1 packet, because I found some other spots of nutsedge around the yard and my neighbor wants spray some in his yard too. Manufacturer's You Tube video was very helpful.

This product seems to be slow in killing the nutsedge. I've had to use more than one treatment. I'm treating individual small nutsedges because its in a flower bed with new hedges, also new sod surrounding it which I have not used it on. I'm hoping I can get rid of it. Replacing dirt is risky and expensive.

Sedgehammer will take about 2-4 weeks to show results on nutsedge, too, so you will need to be a little patient when treating for this weed and it may require repeat treatments as directed on the label.

I've tried several herbicides in the past to control Nut Grass. Sedgehammer+ has been the most effective product have used.
