stuff works great! I will say some of the grass around it browned up but I did apply this stuff extra liberally to really rid the nutsedge. Worked way better than other items I have tried!

I've had sedge slowly and surely expanding in my yard for years. This SedgeHammer + appears to be a successful treatment as I am seeing the sedge turning brown after about a week with no ill effects on my buffalo grass lawn. Time will tell, but in the meantime - thanks for a great product!

This product really works for Nutsedge that resist everything else. It takes about 3 weeks, but they stop growing immediately. It is important that you add a surfactant to the 1.3 oz bottle, but the packs have it included. That is the plus.

I bought this product to kill Kyllinga because Scoot's/ Trugreen said they don't have any way of controlling it. I bought this and the 1 gal pump sprayer, used it to specs and my weeds turned yellowish and than brown in a matter of a week. Hopefully I will not have this problem next year but if I do, I know what I am buying for it.

This product works. I have used it for the past two summers to deal with the annual return of nutsedge. After applying this with my backpack sprayer, the nutsedge turned yellowish after several days. This is an indication that it is working. After the next lawn mowing it did not return. Note: You may have to put apply SedgeHammer twice during the summer season to effectively manage nutsedge.

I had Nutsedge growing across my yard. Getting worse every day. It probably had a light cover throughout 60% of my backyard and 20% of my front. I spray sedgehammer and within a few days the sedge stopped growing. Within a week it was yellow. It has stopped spreading and it's slowly dying away.

This is exactly what I needed to control my nutsedge problem. Next summer I will probably buy 3 or 4 packs and add blue dye so that I can track where I sprayed. I'm confident over the next year or two this product will eliminate nutsedge completely. Just have to stay on top of it.

It's the best product for my nut grass. My landscaper has used his products and never got the same results. It worked within 2 days all nut grass turned yellow. I am very pleased with the results. The only negative is I'm not sure if I killed some of my grass around the nut grass even though I tried only to spray on nut grass. I can't wait to see next year what comes up.

So I was kind of used to the Roundup "instant kill" action - spray and within a few hours see results. This is not that type of herbicide - it takes time to work, but work it does! I had a lawn that was totally infested with nutsedge and a single application has really knocked it back. Took about one week after the application to start to see results and by week two my lawn was filled with dead / dying nutsedge. Will wait a few more weeks and apply a second round, but I am pretty impressed thus far.

I had been using other products to deal with purple Nutsedge. First some only killed yellow Nutsedge. The products that did kill purple Nutsedge also damaged the grass if you were not careful but it showed sign (heavy yellowing) with in three days. I have used that for the past two years, but always came back. This year I decide late in the summer to try SedgeHammer . I sprayed the complete lawn making sure to wet the Nutsedge completely. Six days later the grass is still green but the Nutsedge slowly turned yellow hopefully killing it down to the nut. I also found smaller Nutsedge that was in the lawn but not seen to turn yellow which is a good start. I wish I would have started earlier in the season. We will see what next year brings but I ready to use this product again.

It worked great! I had a LOTof nutsedge in my lawn and its gone (except for the spots I missed). I saved some because i figured I would have to go back and spot spray. Make sure to order extra because if you're like me one packet won't cover 1000 sqft

I'm always skeptical of weed killer but this stuff works and works well! A week later, all the nutsedge is yellowed out and gone. I just wish I had bought more!

This is a great product for combatting the dreaded sedge. The + on this indicates it already has surfactant, which is convenient. Highly recommend!

There is no immediately visible effect when you first apply this, as stated on the package. Growth did stop almost immediately. I saw first signs of the weeds dying after about a week and within two weeks they were all obviously dead. I'll definitely buy this again!

I was paying a Lawn care company but what ever they were using was not killing the nut sedge...enter Sedge hammer! I had to use two packs for my lawn because the sedge had become aggressive three weeks later and the sedge is no where to be seen

So far, all plants turned yellow in 8 days. Next summer will be the true test for if the roots, etc. were killed off.

All of the weeds (They call Devils weed) were gone 4-5 days after first application. In the past I purchased a spray from Home Depot that only covered a small area. For the price and area covered, I give this product a score of 10.

Within a week all weeds sprayed have loss their green color. Excellent!
