Trying something else
By Paul on 05/26/2018
Just not impressed. I like to see dead nutsedge, not distressed nutsedge. Several treatments and not where I would like to be after this much time. I read Dismiss and other herbicides using sulfentrazone will give you visible results in just a few days so going to try that. If true, not sure why to even bother with sedge hammer.
this stuff works

I got an infestation of sedge from plants at a local nursery. Over the course of a year this stuff was out of control. At first I thought it was just grass, but it shrugs off Roundup and begs for more..not so with Sedgehammer,it takes a while but it gets it all..
Great product!

By Stephan on 07/15/2018
This product works great!! I mixed one scoop with one gallon of water as directed.Added surfacant and sprayed the nut grass. It took about three day's to see it start to turn yellow and after about ten day's they were gone..This is the best product I've used so far for killing nut grass.PS: I tried on clover and it worked...

Nut Sedge
By John on 08/03/2018
The Sedgehammer product worked the first time I applied it. With just a light spray of the lawn I came back from a 12 day vacation to find all sedge gone or browning from the application. This is a great product. I bought a second packet to use at a future time should I need it.
Say goodby to Nutsedge

My lawn care company supposedly used 3 professional strength products on my highly infested lawn on the Nutsedge to NO avail, but they did kill any grass they sprayed. I purchased 4 packs of your product, put it on myself as directed and noticeable die off happened in 5 days. I've battled this for 3 years now. I'm also very determined to get it out of my lawn that on one side of my lawn I sprayed each sedge individually doing it row by row and the other half used a sprayer. I did not lose any grass (what is left of it) when I used this product. I just purchased 10 more packages and ready to go to town on it!

finally a safe treatment that does not kill my bermuda
By Mc on 08/09/2018
I have used Sedgehammer twice and it killed the nutsedge and did not kill my grass! Yay! I have tried other products, following their instructions, and yes it killed the nutsdege but also my Bermuda sod ... grrrr. Who wants big dead spots in their front yard? not me Sedgehammer is easy to use, its already got the surfactant included in the pouch mix. The only downside to Sedgehammer is it seems to degrade quickly so I either have to use it all that day or its wasted. I definitely think its effective and since nutsedge is relentless, I'll continue to use it.

This worked fantastic on my St Augustine lawn. I like the fact that it came in a pre-measured pouch. It was very easy to mix and very easy to apply. It took about a week or so to see the results. It killed the nutsedge and not my lawn. Highly recommend this for getting rid of nutsedge. Shipping was fast and the price was good as well.
Did what it was suppose to do
By John on 08/24/2018
For some strange reason I get a crop of nuts edge every couple of years, I looked around and none of the stores sell the nuts edge herbicide. It was easy to mix and I sprayed it directly on each plant, it took a couple of days before anything showed, now all the plants are dead, the spray didn't harm the grass in the area.
SedgeHammer works!

Lots of weed killers will not touch the nutsedge in our yard. SedgeHammer kills it all! That being said, make sure you have enough for 2 treatments because you will probably miss a few spouts and they will spread if you do not apply a second time a few weeks after the first treatment.
