Better Than Traps
By Brad on 10/05/2020
I've tried everything from bombs to snap traps. Snap traps work partially, but it doesn't fully stop the moles from reproducing. Be sure to wear disposable gloves while handling the Talpirid bait. I placed the worn-like bait into one of their tunnels. I checked near the tunnels a few days later and noticed a foul smell. Stomped on the tunnels and never saw a new tunnel.

Moles
By Bill on 10/30/2020
Following instructions for this is next impossible my mole tunnels are Deep underground, I place the worms deep in all the holes with gloves on and using a stick from outside they came up One of the same holes and then started making new ones. Hasn't worked for me, it seems after they came up one of the holes with the worm they have avoided all others and made new ones.

Talpirid Mole Bait
By Dave on 10/30/2020
I have been using this product for several years and find it easier to use effectively than traps or shotgun. Whenever I get a molehill, I immediately go thru the accepted process of determining the active run, dropping a "worm" in the hole and wait a couple of days. If no activity by that time, success. Moles will find a vacum and will always fill it so it pays to have a supply of Talpirid Mole Bait on hand.

Disappointed
By Chris on 02/25/2022
I had high hopes concerning this product because the concept makes sense. However, I was very disappointed in the results. The moles would tunnel through and push the worm up out of the ground! I did not see any decrease in activity. I bought two packages but will be returning one of them! Do My Own is still a great company to do business with though! Always helpful and ships out your order in a timely manner.
Expert response:
We apologize if the product was not effect for you, it can take time to eliminate moles but Talpirid is a top choice and normally works very well. When you have mold activity in your yard it can in part be due to a plentiful food supply. Moles will feed on grubs, worms and other similar insects living in your turf. Many people in conjunction with using products designed to either trap, kill, or repel moles, will use a product like Dylox to kill the grubs and insects the moles are feeding on. By removing their food source it helps deter them from your yard. Holy Molies
By Marian on 04/27/2022
Haven't seen any difference in how my yard has turned into mole highways and off ramps. So since these worms go underground we have no idea if it has killed any moles. All I know is what I see in how my yard looks and it doesn't look good. Our neighbor down the road is having the same problem. I was hoping this was our miracle product, but it's not.

i used a bunch, and i mean a bunch of molescram. and it worked but only temporarily. went to the talpirid poison worms, planted 20 or 30 and while it seemed like i was on an episode of Caddy Shack, it worked. find the pushed-up dirt from their tunnels, poke a hole, drop the rubber worm in. definitely got them on the run now.
