Yes, Talstar P is odorless, dries clear, leaves no stains, is non-irritating to the skin, and will not break down easily with rainfall.
Talstar P Professional Insecticide should be mixed at .5 an oz per gallon for spiders. But yes, products such as Talstar have a more difficult time taking care of spiders. Something such as Demon Max or Suspend SC would work better on spiders. Their formulation helps stick to surfaces better & their legs as well. Will also take care of the food sources that are making them harbor them. Also make sure to take down any spider webs as they come up to make them want to relocate.
Since aquatic life such as reptiles can be sensitive to insecticides, we do not recommend applying Talstar in any rooms while these animals are present, or in their habitats. It should be fine to use Talstar in other rooms where these animals are not kept.
Talstar P Professional Insecticide would not be recommended for use if you need to treat wood directly. It only sits on the surface of wood and would not penetrate. It used to be used as a perimeter treatment to the soil in a trench around the home until non repellent products like Termidor SC were developed. For treating wood directly, a better option would be Bora-Care, either sprayed or painted onto the rafters. We have great guides for treating both subterranean and drywood termites that would be helpful to review as well.
Talstar P would be a great option for indoor spraying along baseboards and in cracks and crevices for general pests.
Talstar P (Talstar One) is labeled to be applied to cracks and crevices indoors. Mopping should not be an issue, as Talstar is not labeled to be applied as a broadcast over the floor. If you were to mop along the edges of the wall where Talstar was applied, it would take it up.
