This product is good, but nothing amazing. It is simply your average pest control product. Not the best, not the worst. Definetly among the safest because of the properties of its ingredient however which can be a major plus to some people. Kills spiders and larger insects on contact between 1 - 3 minutes depending on how heaviliy you hose them down. The residual varies widely in my experience. It lasts about 2 weeks in 80 - 100 degree weather daily, and about 2 months in cooler temperatures. For the price it is an easy buy and does the job well enough, but if you're looking for some serious kill power or heavy residual times where the product is not just there but actually effective as well, then there are better products.

worked in getting rid of a bee hive. Other products didn't work. well try on other critter's soon.

I ordered the Talstar to combat a serious chinch bug problem in Western PA in KY bluegrass and rye. No one had ever seen them here and they ruined almost 3000 sq. ft. before I figured it out. I used the max rate of 1 oz./ 1000 sq. ft. which meant just 1/5 of an ounce per 1 gallon of water in my sprayer. It is very difficult to measure 1/5 of an ounce using the gauge at the top of the bottle. The results have been fantastic. I have not seen any bugs in the lawn since. I would give it 5 stars if it could spray itself on the lawn.

Purchased this to try and knock down some of the bugs surrounding the house as well as the pesky gnats and mosquitoes. I have noticed that there are not as many as before. Seems to be working pretty good. The container is easy to measure and then mix. Happy so far with this product

Purchased this and a barebones pump from this site and delivery was very fast. Followed instructions and was ready to spray in about 15 minutes. Sprayed inside and outside of the house and I am not seeing any roaches for the last 2 weeks, except for a few dead ones the first week.

Sprayed product the day after we received it and ants gone by the next morning. We have had a terrible infestation since last years drought, spent over $500.00 on over the counter ant control at local hardware stores to no avail. If this continues to work this good I will not buy anything else.

Only completed one application over 1 week ago, and intend to repeat at the 2 week point. Seems to be working; a lot less ticks on our dog. Ticks here in Florida have been very bad. As we have neighbors who let their greenery become overgrown, we will continue to use this product. We were having a professional pest control company treat the yard with an organic product which was not strong enough and the tick infestation got worse. This product seems to have made a difference. We also had used cedarcide, but that only kills the eggs not the ticks and that didn't help enough if the ticks are coming from a neighbor's yard.

I LOVE the ease of measuring the product with the small reservoir. Instructions for how much to use were a little confusing but was able to figure it out. Time will tell how well the product keeps the bugs away.

I bought this to control stink bugs on my viburnium. Cannot find any eggs or bugs.

I used the item in a broadcast sprayer with my atv. Did it fix the mosquito problem completely? No it did not. Did it make it bearable to walk out side during the day and not have to spray bug spray on every time? Yes it did. The mosquitos are still kinda a problem when it does get dark out not real sure why that would be by the product did help

So, crazy ants in my yard were driving me, well, CRAZY! Tried several "guaranteed" products from Wally-World with very limited results controlling crazy ants OUTSIDE. Most products worked for only a few days; presumably, only killing those ants above ground during treatment. Talstar worked much, much better, but didn't completely eliminate all ants. The infestation was so bad, I'm sure a second treatment in a month will be necessary. At least I can walk on my sidewalk and driveway without getting swarmed every time. We did get several days of hard rain starting the day after application. Not sure if this helped to wash the product underground into the mounds or if it washed much of it away. The price per application is much better than other products, and the liquid format is much easier and effective than granules. I used a hose-end sprayer to quickly apply at the indicated rate; spraying 4' up on the house, fence and trees in addition to covering the lawn. I would have given it 5 stars if it had eliminated all ants on the first application; however, it is the best product for lawn-based crazy ants I've ever used.

I haven't seen any bugs in the house since using the Talstar P. I believe it is a good product based on testimonies from friends. However, I thought the mixing instruction were a little difficult to interpret.

Well, pretty much. Still see some tiny ones 3 weeks in. Adults pretty much killed. You spray it outside the house (trailer). It would be better if the trailer didn't have a skirt so it could be sprayed on the bottom. Also would be better if it didn't rain every day in Florida.

I received my order fast. It took me several days after I received it to be ready to use it. I have sense sprayed some of the areas I want sprayed. I have seen a lot less roaches in these areas. I hope to have more sprayed and if the results continue, will see less and less of the little pest. It took awhile for the roaches to, but I hope and believe the will leave a lot faster now that I started this treatment. I already see less.

I have used this product for 3 years now to control bees and carpenter ants. It is pet safe after it dries. It works very well to control a lot more than just the two I listed above such as earwigs and other pests; read the website label for what it controls. Good price and fast shipping. Have purchased previously.

I have used Talstar-P for a couple years now and am happy with the results. I rate it only 4 stars because I have never tried anything else since using Talstar so there may be something better. Though I have never needed anything "better" for any insect.

This is the only product which seems to control Fl. ants, not as long as I would like, but stops them almost immediately

Worked great! The only thing my husband has to say about it, was that it would be easier if he could use something bigger than a 1 gallon sprayer.

  Expert response:
Talstar P can be applied with larger equipment such as a 2 gallon hand sprayer, 3 or 4 gallon backpack sprayer, or with a mist blower or hose-end sprayer outdoors.

Easy to use.. have noticed a decrease in mosquitoes and fly's! Seems I have a lot less fly's than my friend's houses, and I'm the one living the country! Not to mention a few other random dead bugs.. so I'm happy

It has only been 3 weeks since the initial application, so I will have a better feel for the ability of Talstar to perform over time in the next few months. The weather is cooling here in Nevada and general bug conditions are not as obvious as during the summer months. I would say that the product is very easy to measure, apply and is completely odorless. I noticed a larger number of expired insects within a week or so than with the prior use of retail products such as Black Flag or Ortho. Scorpions are a big issue during the summer months and although I did not have much of an issue at all fortunately, killing their food source is my goal. That is why I selected Talstar.

Chinch bugs don't stand a chance with this product. Easy to follow directions, easy to apply, easy to store. Now it's just a matter of time...and the bugs will be gone Thanks, Florida User
