Tempo 1% Dust
By Troy on 11/01/2016
This dust works miracles. I had a yellow jacket problem in the patio floor. I vacuumed about 150 yellow jackets but they were still flying around. I ordered the dust and followed direction. The next morning it had 98% jackets dead on the floor. Within 2 days the remaining jackets was dead. I recommend this product
Was shocked at how well this worked.

Our neighbor disturbed a hive on their property and the bees set up shop on my house. After a month of trying to get someone out to see if they could remove the bees I found this site and Tempo 1 dust. I did my best to do this late at night but being so high up I did not have very good light to really hit it right but sure enough the next morning there were many dead bees on the ground. I hit the area again when it was still light out and the next day there were tons of dead bees and later that night my driveway lights were covered in bees. For some reason they all headed for the lights and they were all dead the next morning. Product definitely worked. Make sure you wear a mask because this stuff is very fine and you really don't want to inhale this. I also recommend wearing safety glasses. So much cheaper to do it yourself vs hundreds of dollars to have someone do it.
Excellent for mud wasps around roof, chimney and antennas.

Wasps prey on the spiders in the roof area, and this Tempo 1% dust was excellent in getting rid of both insects, so I could paint the metal roof. The dust seemed to repel the wasps and the spiders which disappeared a few days after Tempo dusting the TV antenna's base and the top opening of the chimney.

After 1 month seems very good

Been fighting carpenter bees in a shed for years using the local store liquid spray products. Sprays are effective immediately but do not seem to have any lasting effect. The dust stays put pretty well and so far (1 month) after I found & treated every active tunnel I have not seen any more bees.
No more wasp!

Great Stuff!

We have been plagued for years with wasps nesting inside the area between our roof and ceiling. One-half of this structure has no attic (cathedral ceiling), hence a great place for the insects to nest between the joists. Well, after calling different bug control " experts " to handle the situation and getting temporary results for my money, I decided to DIY. As my great Dad taught us, " if you want it done right, do it yourself!" I had to climb up on the roof and hang over the eaves to get the dust into the joist area which was an adventure in itself...saw 1 wasp 2 days later. Now, no more wasps!! A great product; I do hope that it will last longer than the other treatments. If not, back on the roof I'll go.
Works as directed

kills wasps hiding in various openings of homes. It doesn't take much and the wasps are gone the next day. Meaning, I don't see them anymore. What sure makes the process easier though is buying a puffer housing that attaches to the end of an extension pole so you could get to higher places MUCH easier and faster. What I found though is that it will keep the wasps away for just over a month and then they eventually come back. So you either puff again or close the openings of where they nest. Note: puffing at night sure makes the job safer, if you can puff at night.

My mom's house is old and it has aluminum siding.Through the years I have used cases of wasp spray to deter red wasp but I couldn't reach the nest in the siding. They would be back in the same place every time I visited.Used this stuff to try something different with the larger squeeze bulb.you could see a small dust cloud coming out 3 or 4 feet from the area that was being injected with the bulb and hear upset wasp in the siding.Visited there weeks later and they were gone.

Tempo rescued our shed
By Monica on 10/01/2017
In a span of 3 days a nest of yellow jackets set up a home under our equipments shed. The vibration of my footsteps on the floor boards brought them boiling out to attack at my second step. I was stung several times just trying to get the push mower out the door before giving up and leaving it on the threashold. Getting my John Deere riding mower started and out would be impossible without being stung to death. The wasp & hornet sprays we've used on wasps & others in the past had no ill effect on them. The seemed to treat it like gamma rays to the Hulk. After sunset my husband was able to get the Toro push mower out for me without getting stung, but just barely. I enjoy taking care of my lawn, but 15,000sq ft with a push mower is just obnoxious, especially when it has to be done every 4 to 5 days so that we can mulch and not have to bale it. After reading up online about the Tempo 1% dust and another powder we decided to go for the Tempo as the reviews indicated it was the better (and faster) option. When we ordered the Tempo dust we also bought a JT Eaton Insecticide Red Duster to apply it. It was very easy to use, and we did not encounter sentrys or defenders as we applied it after dark, on a Sunday evening. The next afternoon hubby checked it out (I was much too leary about getting stung again) and there was a pile of dead yellow jackets at the opening and none came out when he stomped around in the equipment shed. Tuesday I worked up the courage to enter the shed, start up the John Deere and ride out to mow, and return it to the shed. Less than 48 hours they were all dead, and possibly even less than 24. We treated it once again about 10 days later (after a light rain) to ensure we got the larva as well. We are extremely happy with both the Tempo 1% Dust and the JT Eaton Red Duster. Now to try the dust on the Ant colonies in our driveway!!

Applied after dark using Tempo Dust in a duster (Because the bees cannot see green light) I used a green head lamp to find the nest location. If you use a regular light they will find you. First night dusted around the nest next night found hole and dusted heavy after three days the little varmints were gone. Great Product.
Worked Great!

Had a bad infestation of yellow jackets, which were inside of an enclosed exterior wall. They were flying in and out through the small gaps in the siding boards. In my first application I lightly dusted the gaps between the boards. The next day there were hundreds of dead yellow jackets on the ground. In my second application I inserted the tube of the duster between the planks and dusted more heavily. More dead yellow jackets the next day. Haven't seen any since.
Definitely works!

I don't usually write reviews but this stuff works!!! had a very busy nest of yellow jackets in my vinyl siding. Found their way into the house. Was panicked and called my local pest control who wanted a ridiculously high price. So I turned to the internet in hopes to eliminate myself. I order the dust and applicator...went out every evening for 4 days and dusted!! I was pleasantly surprised and happy to see no activity outside or pests in my house after less than a week!!! It works!!! So glad I ordered!!

This stuff has not failed me yet. Live in the country where lots of bees wasps and hornets are always a part of life. Not meant as an instant knockdown product but has been 100% effective when dusting the nests. Behind siding, in wood or ground nests. Usually kills entire nests in two days. Did it at dusk with your rubber bulb duster.(highly recommended) Excellent product.

I'm sold on this dust. I have used it several times for persistent hornet problems. They've built nests under my siding in 3 different places, one after the other. This dust kills them off after a day or two. Then, no more bees show up. Although they may rebuild in another place, I just use it again and again. It's the best bee killer I've used so far.
Works on just about anything!

I initially bought this for a vacation house where I have seen some beetles and had a carpenter ant issue several years ago. I canceled a $500 a year contract and got 4 years worth of treatments here for just over $100. I got inside & outside chemicals. Having done that I had a continuing problem with camel crickets in the basement of my full time home. I had the stuff so I thought what the heck, do it. I took the fight to them. Basement is unfinished but has partitions built. I hammered a nail hole in every partition between every stud and dusted inside every wall. I pulled out the insulation & did every sill plate. I did the same thing in the crawl space. I used great stuff foam & closed all the holes for electric and cable entry. Then I sprayed the basement perimeter with bifen 7.9%. Day one crickets were everywhere. Some in shock, some still healthy. Day 2 crickets, most seemed damaged. Day 3 few crickets, all seemed damaged and several dead in the middle of the floor. Day 4, a few corpses, also a few dead bugs I did't even know I had, mostly small spiders I was on a roll s I came back here and bought Niban on the recommendation of the support staff. Sprinkled about 2 table spoons in the corners and cracks in the basement. Another small amount around the first floor and went out of town for business for a week. Came home, not one bug of any kind anywhere. I think I got them. All for a total cost of around $4. My only regret is I don't get to kill anymore of those disgusting creatures.
