If the pillow blocks are under the surface you will not need to dig around them for you treatment. You will want to focus on treating outside around the structure for your trenching area so that the solution will absorb into soil enough to leave a residual where the termites are migrating from. Unfortunately, Termidor SC is not labeled to be used in a tree application. Only up against a structure. If you need a product that can be used around trees we would recommend using a product like Dominion 2L Termiticide Concentrate which can be used in this type of application.
You will want to give adequate time for the herbicide to dry and absorb into the plants you are treating with it before using another product over top. This will help to make sure there are no compatibility issues between the two products as well as to ensure the insecticide application does not wash away any of the herbicide you applied. If the porch is wood, you can remove the wood temporarily so that you can treat the soil with Termidor SC or Taurus SC. If the porch is concrete, you will need to drill through the concrete to apply the solution.
