Vet’s Best Flea and Tick Home and Go Spray is designed to protect your dogs against fleas and ticks. It is formulated with a special blend of natural ingredients like peppermint oil and eugenol which is derived from clove plants and it is proven effective to kill fleas, flea eggs, and ticks, as well as repel mosquitoes too. For Pet Bedding, Pillows, Blankets, Upholstery, Carpet, Rugs and Outdoor Surfaces: This product is designed to be non-staining when used as directed; however, always apply a small amount to an inconspicuous area to test for colorfastness.
Shake well. Spray the surface uniformly with a light mist until moist. Avoid soaking. A fine mist is all that is necessary to be effective. Not recommended for use on fine furniture. Can be used around dogs and cats 12 weeks or older.
For Dogs and Puppies 12 Weeks or Older: Lightly spray dog’s entire coat until damp, but not dripping. Do not spray in the face, eyes or genitals. Cover the entire coat including the legs, tail and stomach. Massage into the coat until the product reaches the skin. Repeat as necessary allowing 2-4 hours between applications. Can be used indoors or outdoors.
In order to help reduce the occurrence of fleas and ticks, this product is best used year round and when combined with other Vet's Best products for pet, home and yard.
PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS:
HUMANS: Causes moderate eye irritation. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after use. Prolonged or frequent repeated skin contact may cause allergic reaction in some individuals. For external use only.
DOMESTIC ANIMALS: Sensitivity may occur after use of any product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs of sensitivity continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Not recommended for use on pregnant or nursing animals, For external use only.
IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lens, if present, after first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. If irritation persists, contact a physician. IF ON SKIN: Wash with soap and water and repeat if necessary. IF INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. INGESTION: Immediately drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting. If symptoms persist, contact a physician.
