Finally was able to find a place that sold the old style victor mouse traps with the metal trigger pan! Got a full case of 72 and at a super great price. These traps can't be beat. The newer, plastic pan, traps are ok but the metal pan seems to do a bit better. DoMyOwnPestControl.com is the place to shop!

I've tried all of the mouse traps available and this is the only one that gets me results every time. The mechanism on these traps sets easily and has exactly the right sensitivity not to go off when you touch it, but ready to spring when the mouse touches the bait. Inexpensive and extremely effective!

I will never again try any trap that contains plastic. They never work. And I would definitely order from this site again. Fast and cheap!

I'm currently debating whether to purchase this "old style" trap or go with the yellow trigger model. The yellow trigger model is less likely to snap your finger and you can set it very sensitive by pushing the pedal down till the trigger bar "lip" is just barely engaged by the trigger rod---sensitive! But, the old style traps seem to have a slightly better catch ratio. Plus, where can you buy the old style anymore? There, I've convinced myself! I'm ordering a full case of these old style!

My problem was voles digging up my garden. I had purchased some Tomcat brand mouse traps at our local grocery store. After putting them into use, two of them broke, several set themselves off with nothing caught and 3 had the "cheese" square pop off. So I ordered a dozen Victor mouse traps with the metal bait station. Wow! I could see the difference right away. The Victor trap has a much more powerful spring mechanism and the metal parts and method of attachment to the wooden base are sturdier than the same on the Tomcat traps. When I put the Victor traps into use, I quickly caught 6 voles with no damage to the traps.

I have used these types of traps for as long as I can remember. I have property that is surrounded by woods, which is why the little buggers keep getting into the garage. I have tried other types of traps and they don't work. The worst are the poison traps because you end up with dead mice in the walls that smell for a week or so. I can no longer find Victor traps in the stores and will never buy any other type, even though I have to order them on-line now.

I ordered these when I realized the brand. I had used them many years ago and had not seen them in years. After using the sticky pads, I began searching and found the Victor traps. They are easy to bait without getting fingers trapped and can be used over and over and over. Great product!!!

Why change what works? Purchased 12 of these traps and set all but 3 due to bait lever missing (some defects got past quality control), still a great value! Caught seven mice in five days. We knew we had been invaded and had to act quick. My order came quick and it was nice to receive at my door. These old timey ones work the best! Thank you DoMyOwnPest Control for having the product I was looking to purchase!!!

They were renovating the apartment downstairs and two little field mice decided to move in with me. They were only here one day. These traps are easy to use and very effective.

I've been using the traditional Victor mouse traps for years and just recently tried the Pro model. I strongly recommend the Pro model, it's the one with the plastic yellow bait holder and is easier to set. I've tried Tomcat and Pic traps, but they're not sensitive enough. The mouse either gets the bait or gets brutally injured and then I have to kill it to put it out of it's misery. I'm having a 100 percent kill rate with these traps. It's the most cost effective way to deal with minor to moderate mouse problems especially if you have pets. I don't like poison because the mouse dies and you don't know where it is. It could be stinking up the place and you'll never find it.

These are the older model traps that always work. I had been looking for these traps in our local stores and could not find them. DoMyOwnPestControl delivered them to my front door.

I just bought a pack of these, placed two near an entry point where a mouse had been going into the attic and caught the mouse. More humane and environmentally sound than most alternatives, these work well.

I put 2 mousetraps near a garage entrance where a mouse had been entering to go up to the attic and the mouse was caught in 2 days. I didn't use bait. No chemicals and more humane than poison.

This was shipped very fast; ordered on a weekend and had it within a couple of days. I could only find the traps with the plastic cheese bait - which mainly served to feed my growing mouse population in my garage. No where near sensitive enough. I even watched one mouse feeding off it. The first night I set out 4 of these and got four mice; in fact, I got 11 the first few nights, the bait was taken without it tripping only once. Is 72 too many? I live in a subdivision surrounded by a dairy farm; I prefer not to reuse if I can. I am sure I will use all of them over time - and no more looking in stores for them! I am very happy with my purchase from this company!

These are the old style wood traps with all metal feed station and spring trap. Do My Own Pest Control did a great job getting this product to me very quickly.

These traps work far better than the newer ones with the plastic style bait station. And just so you know, the BEST bait ever is tootsie roll!!! It doesn't go stale like peanut butter or cheese and the mice love it. Just warm up a bit of the tootsie roll and mold it into the bait station.

These are excellent mouse traps. The new style traps are mice best friends. I ordered the old style trap and every trap caught a mouse. The new style traps failed to catch a single mouse.

I let my son set 2 of these up. He set them wrong , and the mice got comfortable. I showed him how to properly set them and then he re-deployed them. They worked flawlessly. Two mice down, not sure how many more to go. There are many traps out there, but this style of trap seems to get them every time.

Bought 12 traps and killed over 25 mice in just a week. No more mice left now. Works great with peanut butter bait. Can adjust the bar on the trap trigger for more sensitivity for an easier kill. Have always used Victor mouse traps. Couldn't find them so I bought a cheap knockoff, didn't catch any. Ordered Victor on line, the day they arrived I set the traps, that night caught 4. No more mice for right now. I live in the edge of the woods and it is getting cold, so they will be looking for a warm place, but the Victor Mouse traps well take care of that.

It's hard to find these kinds of traps, the newer version being part plastic. The newer version doesn't work as well either.
