Can Sunshine Harvest SOP (Potassium Sulfate) Fertilizer Granules 0 - 0 - 50 be used on lawns to correct a Potash deficiency?

Soil test shows very low Potassium levels. Looking for ways to correct this deficiency. Would this suffice if kept within 3lbs per 1000 sqft per application?

Answer:

Yes, you can use Sunshine Harvest SOP (Potassium Sulfate) Fertilizer Granules 0 - 0 - 53 to improve a potassium deficiency in a lawn. Per the product label, you should retest the soil 60 days after an application, and then determine if another application needs to be made the following season. We also recommend that you check the micronutrients in your lawn as well (iron, boron, magnesium, etc.) since low levels of micronutrients can inhibit uptake of macronutrients (N-P-K).
