(1) These are not really pre-baited as they claim. There is a slight peanutty smell that goes away quickly. (2) They are very messy if the glue touches your skin or the surroundings. (3) They move too easily and require some means of anchoring them in position so that they are not dragged away and create a mess. I think some of these issues may be addressed by the glue board that folds over into a box. That might help aim the rats onto the glue, but I've not had a chance to try them. Still, bait is needed.

Right off a big rat got stuck on the glue boards. Somehow got free and that was it. They are too smart!

I live in NYC & recently moved into an old pre-war building in The Bronx. Almost immediately noticed a mouse issue, one here and one there but it freaked you out because we had never had them before. Anyway, we tried almost every thing in the market & this particular trap works the best. I think it's the size & the strength of the glue but I'm talking within hours of putting it out I caught that sucker! Lol (a little more pricey, but worth it)

Thought I had a mouse in my garage so I set out a few traps. I caught 5 in the first day!! Also one every day for a week.
