I have a 3000 sq ft backyard putting green and have used 3 tablespoons of Trimec with 6 gallons of water. There has been no visible effect on the crabgrass. What am I doing wrong?

Gordons Trimec Classic Broadleaf Herbicide is for broadleaf weeds only and will not affect crabgrass.
