  • Asked by Diego from Auburn, Alabama
    10/08/2021
    Q
What is the rate per gallon of water for 3336F Fungicide to treat Cercospora Needle Blight on Leyland Cypress?
    A

3336F Fungicide is labeled for Cercospora Needle Blight/Leaf Spot at the rate of 12-16 fl oz per 100 gallons of water. For smaller volume applications, this would break down to 0.75 to 1 fl oz per gallon of water.

For foliar spray applications, treatments should begin when first signs of the diease are present and repeat at 7-14 day intervals during the season. Use at the higher rate at shorter retreatment intervals when disease pressure is high.

Please view the product label for additional information.

  • Asked by Marvin from Powhatan, Va

    Q
Can Clearys 3336F Fungicide and Eagle 20EW be mixed and used at the same time?
    A

For active lawn diseases, best results are going to be treating with 2 different class fungicides in 14-28 day  interval rotation for 2-3 applications then rotating to the other fungicide for the same 14-28 day intervals for 2-3 applications.

Clearys 3336F Fungicide is a Group 1 Fungicide and Eagle 20EW is a Group 11 Fungicide. Please view our Lawn Care Guide for some of the most common Lawn Diseases and Guides for more information and treatment recommendations.

    Q
Can 3336F Fungicide be tank mixed with an azoxystrobin fungicide?
    A

You could potentially mix Clearys 3336F Fungicide with an Azoxystrobin product; however, usually those fungicides would be used in rotation instead of mixed together to help avoid disease resistance. If you would like to tell us more about your application, then we are happy to give a more detailed recommendation.

  • Asked by William from Wake Forest, Nc
    09/12/2022
    Q
After applying 3336F Fungicide, we received 1/10th to 1/4 inch of rain right after, will this have a negative effect on the application?
    A

Depending on the disease you are targeting, excessive irrigation/rainfall may move the application of 3336F Fungicide below the root zone and reduce the effectiveness of the treatment. We recommend waiting at least 7 days to reapply the fungicide if there was rainfall immediately following the application and be sure to have atleast 24 hrs following the application before rainfall is expected.

The only exception with Clearys 3336F would be if you are targeting  root pathogens (diseases) where the product label recommends additional light watering (1/10th to 2/10th’s inch of water) to move the active ingredient into the root zone.

  • Asked by Eze from Miami, Florida
    02/07/2024
    Q
I did not water 3336F Fungicide after application, should I water it anyway (24hs after) or reapply and water.
On the label it did not say to water it. But then reading other costumers questions I saw the recommendation to water after application.
    A

3336F Fungicide is applied with sufficent water at the time of application with no rainfall/irrigation with 24 hours of the application.  Per the label only specific diseases require watering in after application so in general it is not needed. You should not apply more fungicide to the area before the interval timing listed on the label per area.

    Q
I am treating bent grass. For preventitive, how much would I mix for 1 gallon?
I was told 1 ounce for a gallon. Can you confirm this?
    A
Although we have started carrying herbicides due to popular request from our customers, grass and lawns are not our area of expertise.  Therefore we are not giving advice yet on Herbicides as we are not the experts.  We recommend calling the manufacturer Cleary Chemical.  They can be reached at 1-800-524-1662.

  • Asked by Rick from Oakland Park, Fl
    12/29/2015
    Q
Can Clearys 3336F Fungicide be used for treating Ixora Nora Grants?
Nora Grants trunks splitting and plants die off. Extension service has not got back with me on what this is caused. Research back to 2006 indicates systemic fungus and iron deficiency.
    A

While Clearys 3336F Fungicide does not list your specific plant on the product label, it is generally safe to use on most ornamentals. We encourage you to have the problem identified before applying fungicides so that you can apply the best product for the disease, if there is one. Ixora are acid-loving plants, so be sure you are pruning properly and using fertilizer specific for acid-loving plants, such as FoxFarm Happy Frog Acid Loving Plants Organic Fertilizer (6-4-4).

  • Asked by Dave from Ok

    Q
I have been told that I have anthracnose on my red maple tree. What is the correct treatment for this?
    A

Clearys 3336F Fungicide can be applied as a foliar application or a soil drench application for a maple tree.  If doing a foliar application it would be applied at 12-16 ounces of product into 100 gallons of water and sprayed all over the canopy and bark.  If doing a soil drench application it would be applied at 8-16 ounces of product into 100 gallons of water and poured around the trunk avoiding the drip line.

    Q
How can I apply Clearys 3336F Fungicide through a drip system?
I have a 1 gallon fertigation system. That one gallon system feeds 2500 square feet of ground cover and plants. What would be the correct mixture for a system like that? The goal is to create a nice systemic flow throughout the dripline and into the roots.
    A

Per the Clearys 3336F Fungicide label, page 6: Apply material with properly calibrated hand held, mechanical or motorized spray equipment or by chemigation through appropriate sprinkler irrigation, flood,or drip systems. Begin applications when disease first appears and repeat at 7-14 day intervals or as needed during the growing season. Use the shortest interval when conditions are unusually favorable for the development of disease
