Per page 10 of the Agrisel Pendi Hydrocap Pre - Emergent Herbicide label, "Do not use more than 4.2 pints per application. Make a repeat application of 2.2 to 3.1 pints/acre (0.86 t 1.1 oz /1,000 sq ft) after 5-8 weeks if necessary.

You should also apply a pre-emergent in early spring usually between Ferbruary and late May after the ground has thawed from winter but before he soil temperature has reached 55 degrees up to 65 degrees. We do have a general Lawn Care Schedule Calendar for Warm and Cool Season turfgrasses or you can always reach out to your local extension office for best timing in your area.Â

Pendi Hydrocap should be applied how many hours in advance of anticipated rainfall - so as to not "wash away" effectiveness.AAgrisel Pendi Hydrocap Pre - Emergent Herbicide  requires watering in ½ inch after application to get down into the soil and create the barrier, this can be done with rain or irrigation. If a heavier rain is expected we would recommend waiting until there is no rain expected within 24 hours.
