Do you add only chemical or do you dilute it with water?

You will need to refer to the product label of the insecticide you plan on using as you will need to follow the dilution ratio set forth by the manufacturer even when using the Actisol.

    Q
What is the recommended chemical for German Roaches using the Actisol Compact Portable Aerosol Unit?
    A

When using an Actisol Compact Portable Aerosol Unit, we would not recommend that you use any wettable powders or a microencapsulated product. Essentially this unit turns a product into an aerosol, which is the reasoning behind why certain products should not be used inside of it. Temprid SC is a very good product that is labeled for roaches. It has two active ingredients in it to combat bugs. Be sure to also use a growth regulator, such as Gentrol IGR and a bait gel, such as Maxforce Magnum. Do not spray any bait because it will contaminate it and the roaches will not consume it.

    Q
I am after an Actisol Compact Unit in 220V. Are you able to supply one to me in this voltage and ship to CA?
    Actisol Compact Unit in 220V
    A
We are able to supply the Actisol Compact Unit in the 220V but they are not to be used in the US, this type of unit is made for overseas and is a bit more expensive as they have a different motor/compressor along with the plug.

  • Asked by Rick from Centralia
    05/29/2015
    Q
What's the difference between an Actisol and a micro-injector, and does the void injector shoot mist?
    A
The Actisol unit basically makes an aerosol for you by combining a low volume of insecticide with a high volume of air, ideal for crack and crevice treatments and deep harborage/void treatments. Actisol allows you to apply particles mostly in a range of 2.4-15 microns without the addition of any propellants. Particle size will vary with pressure.

  • Asked by Corey from Chico, Ca
    03/28/2016
    Q
How well does the Actisol work on bedbugs?
I know you can use Temprid Sc, along with Gentrol IGR to control bed bugs. By using the actisol machine, would you consider this to be a legitimate tool for bed bug control?
    A

The Actisol Compact Portable Aerosol Unit basically makes an aerosol for you by combining a low volume of insecticide with a high volume of air, ideal for crack and crevice treatments and deep harborage/void treatments, so it is great for treating areas that bed bugs would harbor.

  • Asked by Dave
    09/14/2016
    Q
Can you only mix oil based (Zenprox ) insecticides in an Actisol Compact Portable Aerosol Unit, or can you put water based insecticides in it, too?
    I'm looking for residual.
    A

You can safely use either water-based or oil-based insecticides in an Actisol Compact Portable Aerosol Unit. We do not recommend using encapsulated solutions, generally those with "CS" in the name, such as Demand CS, or using wettable powders ("WP") such as Demon WP as these formulations will not disperse as easily.

  • Asked by Aaron from Michigan

    Q
Can I mix Temprid SC or Onslaught in the Actisol Compact Portable Aerosol Unit?
Doing so will it cause equipment malfunction?
    A

Yes, both Onslaught and Temprid SC can be used in the Actisol Compact Portable Aerosol Unit. It is recommended that you dilute either product in a separate container and then add it to the Actisol. Because both Onslaught and Temprid SC are water based products, it is recommended that you clean and dry the machine after use. For further information on the types of insecticides that can be used in the Actisol, we would recommend contacting the manufacturer directly at 877-288-4765.

  • Asked by Dave from Nj

    Q
What can be put in the Actisol Compact Portable Aerosol Unit?
I work for a company, and we are battling a constant roach issue at commercial account. Was wondering what other insecticides aside from Pyrethrins can be put in for void treatments. Can you only use oil based insecticides in Actisol? Can you mix up water based insecticide?
    A

When using an Actisol Compact Portable Aerosol Unit, we would not recommend that you use any wettable powders or a microencapsulated product.  Otherwise any insecticide can be used in it really. If you are looking for a fast knockdown or contact kill then pyrethrins like Exciter would be the only ones recommended.
