We have used this before and we have huge mounds of fire ants. They take it in and that does it! Grandkids are ready to play. Thanks!

I love this product. It is very effective and really does kill them, not just run them. It usually takes from 24 hrs to 2-3 days to see the result, but they do DIE! I was using Top Choice which is great also, but when I could no longer get it I decided to give this a try. This is my second purchase of Advion Fire Ant Bait and even though it is a bit on the spendy side, it is well worth it and when used correctly (it doesn't take much) it works great. Sometimes, I am too scotch with it and have to reapply, but that is my fault. I highly recomend this product.

The best ant bait I've ever used. Put it on the nest and then there gone. Most cases overnight. Best of all it has low toxicity for mammals, meaning cats and dogs.

We had fire ants popping up in our yard, and a week after applying they were gone. Highly recommend this stuff as a deterrent and control.

We've had European Fire Ants since we bought our house two years ago. They've gotten progressively worse, biting our children, eating our garden, invading every area of our outdoor life. We tried to stay away from chemicals, but nothing made a difference. One treatment and we've seen a massive reduction! WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I used the Advion Fire Ant bait on 6 fire ant mounds and the colonies were completely destroyed within 2 days, very good product.

I used the Fire Ant Bait as directed and have not seen the same results as other reviews. Save your $$$

Advion works every time - if you follow the instructions, Fire Ants are gone withing days. Extinguish works almost as well, but living in SC, I have found Advion to be the premier agent against Fire Ants. I have used both for over 5 years. Extinguish needs more care in application (sun, foraging, wet grass etc). But when applied appropriately works applied once in spring and once in fall. Advion needs application more often, usually 3 -4 times through the fire ant season. This is all my opinion, but I take fire ant infestation personally!

Definitely a good product. I was skeptical and a little put off by the price but after using it I'm a believer! It works and is cheaper in the long run because you don't have to keep reapplying.

This is the ant bait of all ant baits. Fire ants are all, well were all, over my property. Applied 4 tablespoons 3-4 ft around each mound, 2 days later dead ants. Only signs of activity were ants on their death bed. I even scratched the top back on a few mounds and saw the ant bait they had carried into the mound. I can not recommend this product enough. You want to control your ant problem? This is the solution!

Used Advion last year. Treated individual mounds as I found them. Rarely had to retreat a mound. Typically two or three light shakes of product distributed around an active mound, and no activity was noted after two days, often in only one day.

I have been spreading Advion for about 3 years for fire ants. This product kills fire ants as advertised . When used as directed it takes care of your fire ant problem. No more worrying about your children or pets being stung by these little critters. Great product !

This stuff really works! We put it down and in 20 minutes it rained. The directions say wait 2-3 hours before or after rain, we did not expect rain! But it still worked. We did not see one ant for a few days. Now we see a few but we need to reapply. It's been more than seven days. We love it. We have tried everything and even had companies to come and treat and nothing has worked like this! Worth every penny

I only broadcast this product two weeks ago and, while I have seen some slowing of ant movement, I'm not convinced of overall effectiveness. Weather conditions have been terrible, too, and that can impact the expected result. I may need to apply the product a second time once weather stabilizes.

Several nests have been wiped out - but one is being very, very stubborn and keeps moving. Since it worked on two others, I figure it's just a matter of time. It definitely is working better than what you can buy in the store, and I think we've tried everything out there.

Sprinkled a few tablespoons around some fire ant holes per the directions and immediately the ants went for it. The next day, there was no activity.
