Does the mat incorporate germination additives and fertilizer?
The Pennington Netless Seed Mat 39 in. x 18 ft. does not provide germination additives or fertilizer and only helps to keeps grass seed in place, keep seeds moist, and at the same time prevents erosion and control weeds. We recommend waiting until the new grass seed has grown tall enough and established before mowing. This mat is biodegradable so will deterioate on it’s own therefore avoid pulling up the mat as this could also rip out new grass.
